Celebrating Transformation: 2nd Commencement and Recognition Exercises of PDL-Learners at Carcar City Jail
On April 9, 2026, Carcar City Jail successfully conducted the face-to-face 2nd Commencement and Recognition Exercises for its Senior High School Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) learners at the facilityโs covered court. A total of twenty-one (21) PDL learners, composed of eighteen (18) male and three (3) female graduates, were recognized for their academic achievements.
The momentous event was graced by fourteen (14) personnel from EEGAFI, led by School President Dr. Francisca T. Uy, alongside Dr. Felina S. Calledo, Regional Supervisor of DepEd Region VII, and Dr. Roger M. Bajo, Education Program Supervisor. Carcar City Jail personnel also participated the event, headed by Jail Warden, ๐
๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ผ, ๐ฟ๐๐ผ, ensuring the smooth and secure conduct of the activity.
The endeavor included recognition rites and graduation ceremonies conducted under the close supervision of the duty personnel. The activity not only celebrated academic milestones but also reinforced the importance of education in empowering PDL toward personal growth, reintegration, and becoming productive members of society.
