Face-to-face classes in all levels in both public and private schools, including colleges, will officially resume on Monday, October 20, 2025, as directed by Mayor Patrick Barcenas.
All school buildings and facilities have undergone inspection, and the majority of these have been declared safe to use.
Schools with identified restricted areas or classrooms may adopt the Modified In-School and Off-School Approach (MISOSA) to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing safety. Parents/Guardians and Learners are advised to coordinate with your school heads/class advisers regarding this arrangement.
The City Government of Carcar reminds all students, teachers, and staff to observe precautionary safety measures in case of any aftershocks.

Should there be any signs of renewed threat or ground movement, School Heads are authorized to suspend classes immediately to ensure the safety and well-being of learners, personnel, and stakeholders.
