2026 Division Brigada Eskwela Kick Off
π’ Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman! The 2026 Division Brigada Eskwela Kick Off is officially underway today, June 1, 2026, calling on teachers, parents, students, local officials, and stakeholders to unite in preparing schools for a safe, clean, and vibrant school year. The day's events began with a General Assembly and Caravan Kick Off from 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM at the Brgy. Napo Gymnasium. Following the assembly, the grand Caravan moved along a designated route starting from Brgy. Napo Gym, passing through Brgy. OcaΓ±a Road, Brgy. Bolinawan Road, Gaisano Grand Hi-way, Brgy. Perrelos Road Ni-way, Super Metro Ni-way, Katugasan, Ibabao, Perrelos, and Brgy. Can-asujan, before finally arriving at the Jovencio Cabungcal Recreation Center (Brgy. Liburon Gym) in Brgy. Liburon, Carcar City. This coordinated procession was safely led by the PNP, BFP, and BJMP, followed closely by Division Personnel, Cluster Schools, DPDS and Brigada Eskwela School Coordinators, DFPTA Representatives, various stakeholders, and local LGU and BLGU officials.
The Official Launching Program commenced at the Jovencio Cabungcal Recreation Center with registration and preliminaries running from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. Guided by the Masters of Ceremonies, Mr. Angelo Llanos and Mr. Eugene Labra, the formal program opened with the Acknowledgement of Participants by Dr. Mary Jane J. Powao (Chief - CID) and the presentation of the Rationale by Dr. Aquilo A. Rentillo (Chief - SGOD). Attendees were then treated to a powerful Inspirational Message from Dr. Cartesa M. Perico, the Schools Division Superintendent. The rest of the program was filled with motivating Messages of Support from key community figures, including City Mayor Hon. Mario Patricio P. Barcenas, Barangay Captain Hon. Alma Y. Rentillosa, East West Manager Mr. Delfredo Cutamora, and PTCOL. Judith B. Besas. These addresses were interspersed with uplifting intermission numbers performed by Ms. Hannah Faith V. Abatayo (Teacher I), the Gelacian Dancers, and Ms. Queenie Rose Yve A. Alegado (Teacher I), before Hon. Diomedes N. Campugan brought the event to a successful close with his Closing Remarks.
