School Presence

On September 7, 2026, personnel of the Capas Municipal Police Station, led by PCpl John Hilson Mesina and others, Motorcycle Patrollers, under the supervision of PLTCOL ALFIE M SALANG, Officer-in-Charge, established enhanced police presence and conducted Police Patrol/Visibility (PADS) at Cristo Rey High School in Brgy. Cristo Rey, Capas, Tarlac.
During the activity, officers coordinated with security personnel to review safety measures, align emergency response protocols, and reinforce campus security. The foot patrols and active police presence aimed to deter crime, ensure the safety of students, guardians, and teaching staff during school hours, and maintain order within the immediate school perimeter.
This operation forms part of the Capas Municipal Police Station’s continuing efforts to strengthen police-community partnerships through proactive law enforcement, school security coordination, and child safety initiatives. It underscores the Philippine National Police’s commitment to collaborating with the Department of Education to ensure a secure environment where children can learn and thrive safely.

IEC Distribution

On September 7, 2026, personnel of the Capas Municipal Police Station, led by MCAD PNCOs under the supervision of PLTCOL ALFIE M SALANG, Officer-in-Charge, conducted an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) material distribution targeting the students, guardians, and teachers of Angelina D. Jimenez Elementary School in Brgy. Sto. Domingo 2nd, Capas, Tarlac. The distributed IEC materials focused on key child protection laws, including Republic Act No. 11313 (Safe Spaces Act), Republic Act No. 9344 (Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006), and Republic Act No. 10627 (Anti-Bullying Act of 2013). This initiative aimed to strengthen awareness of child rights and responsibilities, foster mutual respect, and emphasize the collective role of students, families, and educators in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and bullying-free school environment. Through these informative guides, students were educated on identifying various forms of bullying, harassment, and discrimination, alongside the legal protections available to them. Guardians and teachers were equipped with valuable reference materials to help spot signs of abuse or mistreatment and guide children toward reporting incidents to parents, school administrators, and proper authorities. This outreach forms part of the Capas Municipal Police Station’s continuing advocacy to strengthen police-community partnerships through crime prevention education and child protection initiatives. It highlights the Philippine National Police’s commitment to supporting the Department of Education in fostering a secure learning environment where children can learn and thrive free from fear, violence, and intimidation.

On September 7, 2026, personnel of Capas Municipal Police Station led by MCAD PNCOs, under the supervision of PLTCOL ALFIE M SALANG, Officer-in-Charge, conducted an informative lecture on Republic Act No. 11313 (Safe Spaces Act), Republic Act No. 9344 (Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act of 2006), and the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 (Republic Act No. 10627) among the Grade 4 elementary students of Angelina D. Jimenez Elementary School in Brgy. Sto. Domingo 2nd, Capas, Tarlac.
This aimed to strengthen the learners' awareness of their rights and responsibilities, promote respect for one another, and encourage the importance of maintaining a safe, inclusive, and bullying-free school environment.
During the lecture, the students were educated on the different forms of bullying, harassment, discrimination, and inappropriate behavior, as well as the legal protections provided under the aforementioned laws. They were also encouraged to practice kindness, respect, discipline, and responsible citizenship both inside and outside the school. The discussion highlighted the importance of reporting incidents of bullying or abuse to parents, teachers, and authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of every learner.
