US Philippines Eye New Clark City For 4,000 Acre Tech Zone

The United States and the Philippines have chosen New Clark City in Tarlac as the site for a 4,000 acre technology economic zone aimed at strengthening supply chains beyond China. The project is part of efforts to boost regional industrial growth.

Finance Secretary and investment czar Frederick D. Go said the first AI native industrial acceleration hub under the US Philippines deal will soon be established within the Luzon Economic Corridor.

International School Planned In New Clark City

A 10 hectare site has been allotted in New Clark City for the development of an international school through a partnership between Hann Philippines Inc. and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority. The campus is expected to offer the International Baccalaureate program and accommodate around 1,500 students.

BCDA president Joshua Bingcang said the project marks a key milestone in the city’s development, emphasizing the role of education in nation building. The school, targeted for completion by 2030, will join existing institutions such as the University of the Philippines, Philippine Science High School, and the National Academy of Sports as part of efforts to build a smart and inclusive metropolis.
