Action Taken re Alleged Attempted Homicide Circulating on Social Media

This pertains on a case of Attempted Homicide circulating on Social Media.
Investigation disclosed that at about 6:00am of March 10, 2023 the victim identified as REMEDIOS MANLUPIG y PABLO, 47 yrs. old, female, married and a resident of Brgy. Murcia Concepcion Tarlac while aboard a passenger jitney along Brgy. Sto. Rosario, Capas, Tarlac when a fellow passenger CICL identified as alyas JEPOY, 17 yrs. old, single, and a resident of Sitio Balas, Brgy. San Roque, City of Tarlac attempted to stab her with a knife but was prevented with the help of concerned citizens who timely arrived and subdued the suspect.
Both victim and CICL were brought to Ospital Ning Capas, Capas, Tarlac for proper medical attention. The suspect CICL was displaying signs of mental/psychological impairment and was incoherent.
The CICL was turned over to the custody of MSWD of this Municipality for proper disposition. WCPD Personnel of Capas MPS together with Personnel of MSWDO of this Municipality also coordinated with Tarlac City Police Station and City Social Welfare and Development Office.
