Pardas Caoayan Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament

The Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Pantay Tamurong is pleased to announce the conduct of the official tryouts for the formation of the Pantay Tamurong Basketball Team that will represent the barangay in the Pardas Caoayan Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament – 16–25 Age Category.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

1. The player must be a bona fide resident of Barangay Pantay Tamurong, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur.
2. The player must be born from the year 2001 to 2010, inclusive.
3. The player must present a valid copy of his PSA-issued Birth Certificate or Valid ID or Voter’s Certificate for verification of age and eligibility.

The first day of tryouts will be on September 2, 2026, with succeeding schedules to be announced accordingly ay Barangay Pantay Tamurong Covered Court, 6:30 PM onwards.

All interested and qualified players are encouraged to attend the scheduled tryouts promptly and with the required documentary proof. Only players who satisfy the prescribed eligibility requirements shall be considered for the team.

For interested players, please be guided accordingly.

Represent Pantay Tamurong with pride, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Our Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson has been hailed as the Most Outstanding Youth in Governance and Public Service at the Gawad Bayani Kabataan 2026, held in Mandaluyong City.

This prestigious recognition stands as a testament to the commitment, excellence, and dedication of the youth leaders of Pantay Tamurong in advancing youth-centered programs, strengthening meaningful participation, and creating initiatives that contribute to the development and empowerment of the community.

May this recognition inspire every young person to believe that leadership is not measured by position, but by purpose; not by recognition, but by the lives touched through genuine service.

May the youth of Pantay Tamurong continue to lead with courage, serve with compassion, and dream beyond what is possible.

Charles Angel P. Seatriz, Kinilala Bilang Most Outstanding Youth in Governance and Public Service

MANDALUYONG CITY — Kinilala ang dedikasyon sa youth leadership, good governance, at serbisyo publiko ni Hon. Charles Angel P. Seatriz, SK Chairperson ng Barangay Pantay Tamurong, Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, matapos siyang tumanggap ng Most Outstanding Youth in Governance and Public Service Award sa GAWAD BAYANI KABATAAN 2026.

Isinagawa ang awarding ceremony noong Agosto 29, 2026, alas-1 ng hapon sa Red Carpet Cinema 1, Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City, bilang bahagi ng GAWAD BAYANI KABATAAN: National Leadership Summit & Awards – Year 2.

Binigyang-pugay sa pagkilala ang kanyang patuloy na pagsisikap na isulong ang kapakanan ng kabataan at makapaghatid ng makabuluhang serbisyo sa kanyang komunidad. Bilang SK Chairperson, ipinapakita ni Seatriz ang kahalagahan ng aktibong pakikilahok ng kabataan sa pamamahala at community development.

Ang kanyang dedikasyon sa good governance at responsableng pamumuno ay nagsisilbing halimbawa sa mga kabataang nais maging bahagi ng pagbabago sa kanilang mga barangay at komunidad. Sa pamamagitan ng kanyang posisyon, patuloy niyang isinusulong ang mga inisyatibang naglalayong makapagbigay ng oportunidad at suporta sa kabataan.

Higit pa sa pagkilala sa kanyang kasalukuyang serbisyo, ang parangal ay nagsisilbing hamon at inspirasyon kay Seatriz na ipagpatuloy ang pamumunong may integridad, passion, at malinaw na layunin.

Ipinapakita rin ng kanyang pagkilala na ang kabataan ay hindi lamang mga benepisyaryo ng mga programa ng pamahalaan, kundi maaari ring maging aktibong katuwang sa pagpaplano, pagpapatupad, at pagsusulong ng mga programang makatutulong sa kanilang komunidad.

Ang GAWAD BAYANI KABATAAN 2026 ay inorganisa ng Realtalk Philippines, sa pamumuno ng CEO at Founder nitong si Leo Orencia, bilang pagkilala sa susunod na henerasyon ng mga natatanging lider-kabataan, changemakers, advocates, innovators, at mga indibidwal at organisasyong gumagawa ng makabuluhang pagbabago sa kanilang mga komunidad.

Bitbit ng programa ang temang “Empowering Leaders. Inspiring Change. Building the Nation.”, na nagbibigay-diin sa mahalagang papel ng kabataan sa pamamahala, serbisyo publiko, at nation-building.

Sa pagkilala kay Seatriz, muling binigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaroon ng mga kabataang lider na handang maglingkod, manguna, at maging bahagi ng makabuluhang pagbabago sa kanilang komunidad at sa bansa.

The Sangguniang Kabataan Pantay Tamurong, through its commitment to advancing youth welfare and fostering a safe, peaceful, and responsible community, recently attended a consultation meeting with the PNP Caoayan, headed by PLT Joy Callejo.

The consultation served as a meaningful avenue for dialogue, coordination, and the exploration of stronger partnerships between the Sangguniang Kabataan and the local police force, particularly in developing and supporting youth-centered initiatives that promote peace and order, responsible citizenship, community participation, and positive youth development.

Recognizing that peace and order is not solely the responsibility of law enforcement, the Sangguniang Kabataan believes that young people must be regarded not only as beneficiaries of peace and security programs, but also as active partners in building and sustaining a peaceful community.

As we continue to build partnerships beyond programs and activities, may we also build trust, understanding, accountability, and shared responsibility—because a peaceful community is not simply maintained by authorities; it is strengthened by citizens who choose to participate, cooperate, and care.

We know that even simple school expenses, such as printing, can become an additional burden for learners and their families. Through this continuing initiative, we hope to lessen that burden and provide practical assistance that can make their educational journey a little easier.

A meaningful youth program does not end when the activities conclude—it continues through the voices, reflections, and experiences of the young people it seeks to empower.

Through iyebkaSK: Agtutubo Feedback, the Sangguniang Kabataan Pantay Tamurong opens a space for every participant of Kampo Agtutubo 2026 to speak, reflect, and share. This initiative gathers the honest perspectives of our young campers on the activities, learnings, experiences, and moments that shaped their journey throughout the camp.

iyebkaSK is a testament to our commitment to youth-centered governance—where every voice is valued, every experience is acknowledged, and every suggestion becomes an opportunity to build better programs.

Because the youth are not merely participants in our programs; they are partners in shaping what comes next.

From the Voice of the Youth, Towards a Future Shaped by the Youth.

A defining chapter in the continuing journey of youth leadership and public service unfolded through the SOKA: State of the Kabataan Address, delivered by SK Chairperson Charles Angel P. Seatriz.

The SOKA served as a solemn reflection of a term marked by service rendered, commitments fulfilled, challenges confronted, and opportunities created for the young people of the community. It provided a meaningful account of the programs, projects, initiatives, and advocacies undertaken in pursuit of a more empowered, participative, inclusive, and future-ready generation.

With transparency as its foundation and accountability as its guiding principle, the address reaffirmed that leadership is not measured merely by the number of activities accomplished, but by the lives reached, voices heard, potentials nurtured, and lasting opportunities opened for every kabataan.

As the youth continue to stand at the forefront of change, the SOKA reminds us that the future is not something we simply await—it is something we collectively build, responsibly lead, and courageously shape.

This is the State of our Kabataan.
This is the story of our service.
