The Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) and the Supreme Secondary Learners Government (SSLG), together with their ever-supportive adviser, Ma'am J. Retarino and Ma'am S. Alonsagay, alongside the selected students from CNHS-Main, joins the Office of the Vice President Panay and Negros Satellite Office's environmental initiative.

"Project Pagbabago: A Million Trees Program."

The said activity was successfully conducted on March 8, 2025, at the Greenbelt Area in Sitio Tigmaya, Brgy. Gatuslao, Candoni, Negros Occidental.

This activity was carried on in collaboration with other schools, moto-riders, vloggers, organizations, and groups for planting 300 saplings with a collective goal in mind: a better environment and a greener future. 🌱✨️

Embracing the theme ‘Integrating Sustainability and Circularity into the Informal Waste Sector,’ they showed their commitment to a sustainable and waste-free future. Let’s continue striving for a greener tomorrow! 🌱♻️

Happy Birthday to our Amazing and Intelligent Yes-O Adviser — the important puzzle piece in our organization and excellent science teacher, Ma'am Maricon C. Jerez! 💐🩷

A brilliant and strong-willed woman, strict at times and wills her classes with an ironed fist, which left many student intimidated yet encouraged to do better in their school work. A true teacher, never willing to let her students fail, pushes them out of their comfort zone, and discover their truest potential through workload and presentation. 💪🏼🧠

Many suspect that ma'am maricon is a teacher with a heart of stone, unpenetrable and cold but once you get to know her, you will be met with a chill, and talkative teacher with advices that helped alot of students in their moment of struggle and always reminding students to never give up and continue with their studies. A humorous teacher with jokes that could light up a room with laughter with her sense of wit and relatability. 🫂🥹

A teacher with her moments of being scary and the next funny, a perfect blend for the students of Caningay National High School Main. 🌟🏆

Once again, Happy Birthday, Ma'am! May you be forever blessed with good health and good luck as you continue to be the brilliant teacher and YES-O adviser of our beloved school. 🫰🏻🌱
