Hermosilla wins 5,000-meter gold, Prov. Meet qualifier

Justine Hermosilla of Lauis National High School (LNHS) dominated the 5,000-meter race at the 2025 Zonal Athletic Meet held on November 18 in Masinloc, Zambales, crossing the finish line ahead of all competitors to claim the gold medal, qualifying to Provincial Meet to be held on December 9–12, 2025 at San Marcelino, Zambales. Hermosilla’s impressive stamina and fast pace throughout the race earned his the top spot, bringing pride to his school and highlighting him as one of the school’s standout athletes in track and field

Lauis National High School Shines at Zonal Athletic Meet 2025 – Taekwondo

Lauis National High School (LNHS) delivered an outstanding performance at the Zonal Athletic Meet 2025 – Taekwondo, held on November 18 at Northern Zambales College, Inc., in Inhobol, Masinloc, Zambales, securing top medals across multiple weight divisions.

In the Secondary Girls Kyorugi division, gold medalists Loraine Atrero (Flyweight) and Maria Lyn Cabalic (Bantamweight) led LNHS to victory and qualified for the Provincial Meet 2025. They were joined by Zyra Nicole Landero (Silver, Featherweight) and Chensi Ruiz (Bronze, Open Weight), guided by Coach Beverly Nevado and Assistant Coach Angela Paasa.

In the Secondary Boys Kyorugi category, Janroice Elamparo captured gold in Welterweight, earning a provincial berth, while Jomar Escala took silver in Bantamweight, under the coaching of Leizl Ecalnir and Assistant Coach Kevin Hermogino.

The school’s impressive medal haul highlights the athletes’ skill, discipline, and determination, setting the stage for another strong performance at the upcoming Provincial Meet.
