18-DAY CAMPAIGN TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
Last December 12, 2025, Nadres and Virtucio Elementary School joined hands with community partners to stand against VAW (Violence Against Women ) during our special campaign event!
Our program brought together students, parents, and staff to raise awareness and empower families with critical knowledge:

Opening: A heartfelt video presentation featured a prayer dedicated to ending VAW, followed by the Philippine National Anthem performed by Emmanuel Decena

Welcome Remarks: Principal I Ma'am Cenona Tamayo emphasized the school's commitment to creating safe spaces for all

Speaker Introduction: Brgy. Admin Menandro Gatdula set the stage for our insightful sessions

Session 1: MSWO 1 Charo De Luna discussed "Breaking the Cycle: Understanding the Impact of Domestic Violence on Children's Mental Health and Learning"

Session 2: PCPL. James Antolin E. Monteiro (Assistant Investigation PNCO) shared vital tips on "Digital Safety for Families: Protecting Women and Children from Online Abuse and Exploitation"

Call to Action: Divine Gonzales challenged everyone to take concrete steps to prevent VAWC in our community

Closing Remarks: Brgy. Councilor Cristina Apinado reinforced our collective responsibility to build a violence-free environment
