BAGYONG JOSIE, PUMASOK NA NG PAR—PAGASA

Pumasok na ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ang Tropical Storm Josie ngayong Martes ng madaling araw, Hulyo 14, 2026.

Ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysic and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), mababa ang posibilidad na direktang makaapekto ito sa anumang parte ng bansa.

Sa tropical cyclone bulletin na inilabas ng naturang tanggapan kaninang alas-5 ng umaga, huling namataan ang sentro ng Bagyong Josie sa layong 1,085 kilometro silangan ng Eastern Visayas.

Taglay nito ang lakas ng hanging aabot sa 65km/h malapit sa gitna, pagbugsong hanggang 80km/h at kumikilos pahilagang-kanluran sa bilis na 25 km/h.

Wala namang nakataas na Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal sa anumang bahagi ng bansa.

Inaasahang kikilos ang Bagyong Josie pahilaga hanggang bukas bago lilihis pahilagang-silangan, at posibleng lalabas ng PAR mamayang gabi o bukas ng umaga.

Inaasahan din itong humina bilang tropical depression sa loob ng susunod na 12 oras at maaari pang maging low pressure area bukas.

Gayunman, inaasahang magpapatuloy ang epekto ng Habagat na magdadala ng malalakas na bugso ng hangin sa ilang bahagi ng Luzon, kabilang ang Lambak ng Cagayan ngayong araw.

Nagbabala rin ang PAGASA sa mga maliliit na sasakyang pandagat na iwasang pumalaot partikular sa kanlurang baybayin kabilang ang Babuyan Islands dahil sa maalon hanggang sa maalong karagatan. (Digna Bingayen)
