May kabuuang 341 rehistradong may-ari ng bangka ang tumanggap ng tig-₱2,325 sa ilalim ng Presidential Assistance for Farmers and Fisherfolk Program (PAFFP) na ginanap sa New Caluya Gymnasium ngayong Mayo 21, 2026.

Ang programang ito ay hatid ng Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Regional Office VI, katuwang ang Municipal Agriculture Office at ng Office of the Municipal Mayor upang makatulong sa pagpapagaan ng pasanin ng mga mangingisda dulot ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng krudo.

Dinaluhan din ang programa nina Municipal Mayor Rigil Kent “Nonoy” G. Lim, VM Belfe S. Duran at ni SB William Pultino na nagbigay ng kani-kanilang mensahe tungkol sa kahalagahan ng pangangalaga at proteksyon sa yamang dagat ng isla para sa susunod na henerasyon at ang mga proyekto na ipapatupad ng municipalidad.

Love filled the halls of the New Caluya Municipal Hall today, May 19, 2026, as two couples officially exchanged their vows in a sacred wedding ceremony officiated by Mayor Rigil Kent “Nonoy” G. Lim

The first couple, John Mark Macalibo Santianez and Khayvie Eguillon Del Rosario, together with the second couple, James Patchicoy Ducado and Erla Centino Ogatis, celebrated the beginning of their lifelong journey as husband and wife.
