PAALALA‼️

Pinapaalalahanan po ang lahat ng bumibisita at nagbo-bonfire sa Poblacion Beach; panatilihin po nating malinis at ligtas ang ating baybayin. Ang mga naiwang abo, kahoy, at basura ay hindi lamang nakakasira sa ganda ng lugar, kundi maaari ring magdulot ng aksidente sa ibang beachgoers.

Mga dapat tandaan:
• Linisin at ayusin ang lugar pagkatapos mag-bonfire
• Siguraduhing walang naiwang abo, pako, bote, o anumang matutulis na bagay
• Patayin nang maayos ang apoy bago umalis
• Dalhin at itapon ang sariling basura sa tamang lalagyan

Ang Poblacion Beach po ay para sa lahat kaya dapat panatilihin natin itong malinis, maayos, at kaaya-aya.

Maging responsable at magkaroon po tayo ng disiplina sa ating mga sarili at malasakit sa kalikasan.

INFORMATION DRIVE ON ZERO PLASTIC ORDINANCE

The Local Government Unit of Caluya under the proactive leadership of Hon. Mayor Rigil Kent G. Lim through this office successfully conducted an information drive on the implementation of the Zero Plastic Ordinance, which prohibits the use, sale, and distribution of single-use plastics in the municipality.

MENRO personnel visited various stores and the public market across Caluya Island to inform and guide business owners, vendors, and residents on the proper compliance with the ordinance. This initiative aims to reduce plastic waste and promote a cleaner, more sustainable environment for all.

We encourage everyone to support this effort by shifting to eco-friendly alternatives and practicing responsible waste management.

Together, let us protect our island and preserve its natural beauty for future generations!

The Local Government Unit of Caluya under the proactive leadership of Hon. Mayor Rigil Kent G. Lim warmly welcomed the personnel of DENR-CENRO Culasi headed by OIC CENR Officer, Sir Rhodel B. Lababit during their recent site assessment and field validation activity in Panagatan Island.

MENRO actively assisted the team throughout the conduct of the activity, ensuring proper coordination and support in gathering vital information on the environmental condition, coastal and marine resource utilization, and the socio-economic situation of the community.

This collaborative effort reflects our shared commitment to environmental protection and sustainable resource management for the Municipality of Caluya.
