β οΈ STRICT IMPLEMENTATION OF ORDINANCE NO. 1220, S. 2026 β οΈ
To all our dear residents, business owners, and stakeholders of Barangay 52, Zone 5, 2nd District, Caloocan City:
We are officially announcing the strict implementation of Ordinance No. 1220, Series of 2026 β amending Ordinance No. 0397, Series of 2005 β which regulates the selling, serving, and drinking of alcoholic beverages in public places within our barangay.
π« WHAT THIS ORDINANCE STATES:
β NO DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN ANY PUBLIC PLACE AT ANY TIME, DAY OR NIGHT β
Public places include: streets, sidewalks, alleys, parks, plazas, playgrounds, waiting sheds, public roads, and any open space outside residential perimeter fences. Selling or serving alcohol in public places without proper city authorization is also prohibited.
This ordinance is vital for peace, safety, and public order in our community. Public intoxication and disorderly gatherings are among the top causes of noise complaints, conflicts, accidents, and safety hazards. By implementing this measure, we aim to:

Keep our streets and public spaces safe and peaceful for everyone; children, elders, and families alike

Reduce noise, conflicts, and disturbances in our neighborhood
β
Promote discipline, respect, and responsible behavior
β
Support the DILG Safer Cities Initiative toward a safer, more progressive Caloocan
β οΈ TO OUR RESIDENTS:
Let us be responsible and considerate. Enjoy your gatherings responsibly, please drink only within private residences and private establishments with proper authorization. Let us respect our neighbors and our shared public spaces. A peaceful community starts with us! π
β οΈ TO ALL SARI-SARI STORE OWNERS & ESTABLISHMENTS:
We appeal for your full cooperation. Selling or serving alcohol in public places without city authorization is prohibited. Please be guided accordingly ,,repeated violations will result in fines and automatic revocation of business license on the 3rd offense. Let us uphold the law together for the common good.
π° PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS:
- 1st Offense: β±1,000 fine or imprisonment
- 2nd Offense: β±3,000 fine or imprisonment
- 3rd Offense & more: β±5,000 fine or imprisonment + license revocation (for establishments)

Effective Date: Approved July 20, 2026
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY upon approval and strictly enforced within Barangay 52.
