The Acting District Director of the Northern Police District (NPD), PBGEN BENLINER L CAPILI, announced the successful arrest of eight (8) wanted persons during a โWarrant Dayโ operation conducted by NPD units and police stations. Those arrested included two (2) Top Most Wanted Person (TMWP), and six (6) Other Wanted Person (OWP).
Top Most Wanted Arrested:
Caloocan City - A 61-year-old male accused, a helper and resident of Barangay 106, Caloocan City, who was listed as the No. 7 Top Most Wanted Person at the Regional Level, No. 3 at the District Level, and No. 1 at the Station Level.
The accused was apprehended through a joint manhunt operation conducted by the Intelligence Section, Investigation and Detective Management Section, Warrant and Subpoena Section, Women and Children Protection Desk, Regional Intelligence Division, and NDIT-RIU NCR in Barangay 106, Caloocan City.
The arrest was carried out by virtue of multiple Warrants of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 130, Caloocan City, for two counts of R**e, Acts of Lasciviousness, and Lascivious Conduct in relation to Section 5(b) of R.A. 7610.
Following the arrest, the accused underwent medical examination and documentation before being placed under temporary detention pending the issuance of a Commitment Order from the court of origin.
Malabon City - A 25-year-old male accused, a carpenter and resident of Barangay Tinajeros, Malabon City, who was listed as the No. 9 NPD Top Most Wanted Person at the District Level and No. 8 Top Most Wanted Person of Malabon City Police Station for June 2026.
The accused was arrested by operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section and the Station Investigation and Detective Management Section of Malabon City Police Station in Barangay Tinajeros, Malabon City. The arrest was made by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 170, Malabon City, for Violation of Section 11, Article II of R.A. 9165.
After the arrest, the accused was brought to a local hospital for physical examination and was subsequently placed under temporary detention pending the issuance of a Commitment Order from the court of origin.
