EX-POLICEMAN TAGGED IN KILLING A COUPLE AND THEIR 12 YEAR OLD SON COLLARED BY CIDG.

A former member of Caloocan PNP accused in the slaying of spouses Romeo & Christine Ado and their 12 yr old son in 2018 at Bgy Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City was arrested by elements of CIDG Northern MMDFU on January 29, 2023 at about 9 AM at his residence in Caloocan City for Violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act).

The ex-cop, JERRY ANTONIO y LACARA a subject of a Search Warrant issued by HON. GLENDA K CABELLO-MARIN, 1st Vice Executive Judge, RTC Branch 124, Caloocan City at his house at Kamagong St., Bartolome Compound, Bgy. 167, Silanganan, Caloocan City was held when two (2) pcs. of undocumented fi****ms,
one (1) Medallion Caliber .45 Pistol with serial no. 1165061 and
one (1) C**t MK IV Caliber .45 Pistol with serial no. 123056 both w/magazines loaded with ammunition was seized from his control & possession.

CIDG Camanava Chief, PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III said that aside from Violation of RA 10591 other appropriate charges will also be considered for filing against Jerry Antonio such as:
1. RPC Article 151 (Resistance & Disobedience to a Person in Authority or their Agents);
2. RPC Article 148 (Direct Assault); and
3. RPC Article 249 (Attempted Homicide)
as the latter tried to elude being subjected to the Search/Court Order and almost engaged himself into a shootout with CIDG operatives if not subdued swiftly by the team.

Apprised of his constitutional rights and the nature of his offense, the suspect opted to remain silent.

TWO INDIVIDUALS NABBED FOR ILLEGAL GAMBLING

CIDG's Intensified Anti-Criminality Operation in relation to Anti-Illegal Gambling resulted in the arrest of
REYNALDO TOLENTINO y MENDOZA a.k.a. "Rey" and
LILIBETH GARADO y LIGAYO a.k.a. "Beth"
for Violation of PD 1602 as amended by RA 9287 (An Act Increasing Penalties for Illegal Number Games).

The police operation stemmed from a confidential information that an alias "Rey” is engaged in illegal gambling as "kabo" locally known as Lotteng operating in the vicinity of Ph9 Bgy. 176, Caloocan City.

Acting on the information, detectives of CIDG NMMDFU were dispatched by PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III for the conduct of Anti-Illegal Gambling Operation that led to the arrest of the aforementioned individuals at about 8:30 PM of January 27, 2023.
Both are now held at CIDG's Lockup Facility for filing of appropriate charges.

CIDG's INTENSIFIED ANTI-CRIMINALITY OPERATION (CIACO) BAGS MORE OFFENDERS.

The sustained Manhunt and Anti-Crime Operations spearheaded by CIDG Camanava Chief, PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III topped-up again the PNP's list of arrested wanted persons and lawbreakers.

Collared by NMMDFU operatives on seperate occasions were:

1. JECK-JECK NICOLAS y GONZALES, of Tondo, Manila. Arrested by virtue of Alias Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Art. 249 of RPC (Homicide) issued at Manila RTC Branch 12;

2. GENARO STO. DOMINGO JR. y BASE, arrested In Flagrante while engaged in
Illegal Number Games "Lotteng" punishable under Republic Act 9287;

3. GILBERT TAN y DE ALAGDON, arrested In Flagrante while engaged in
Illegal Number Games "Lotteng" punishable under Republic Act 9287; and

4. DELAILAH SOMERA TY,
served the Alias Arrest Warrant from La Trinidad, Benguet RTC Branch 10 for nine (9) counts of Illegal Recruitment.

Arrested persons were apprised of their Constitutional Rights and are now held at CIDG's Lockup Facility.

4 WANTED PERSONS FALLS TO CIDG's INTENSIFIED ANTI-CRIMINALITY OPERATION (CIACO)

In line with CIDG's Flagship Project: Oplan Pagtugis and CIACO for the month of January 2023,
four (4) individuals with standing Warrants of Arrest were nabbed by NMMDFU operatives on different occasions.

The Manhunt Operation launched by PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III succesfully carried out its mission in apprehending wanted persons within Camanava and nearby Cities, to wit:
1. DELILAH BALALLO-TY y SOMERA
for two (2) counts of Illegal Recruitment;
2. DANREB REBECHE y ESPAÑOLA
for Violation of Article 310 of the Revised Penal Code (Qualified Theft);
3. SONNY AVELLANO y HEGINA
for Violation of Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Act of 2013 (Section 5 in Relation to Section 12 (b) of RA 10586); and
4. ALDRIN MANLAPAZ y ROBLES
for Violation of Article 285 of the Revised Penal Code (Other Light Threats).

Said arrested wanted persons were apprised of their Constitutional Rights and the nature of their arrest but opted to remain silent and now temporarily held at CIDG Camanava's Lockup Facility.

"DOC MON" ARRESTED ANEW

RAYMOND SILVA y DELA CRUZ a.k.a. "Doc Mon" previously arrested by operatives of CIDG Northern Metro Manila District Field Unit-Camanava for illegal practice of Veterinary punishable under RA 9268 (Philippine Veterinary Act of 2004) was taken into custody again by the same unit/team but this time by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Violation of Article 310 of the Revised Penal Code (Qualified Theft) dated January 9, 2023 issued by HON. MARITA IRIS BRIONES LAQUI-GENILO, Presiding Judge, MTC Branch 109, Valenzuela City.

The team sent out to conduct Manhunt Operation on January 19, 2023 by CIDG NMMDFU-Camanava Chief, LTCOL NICK LEDESMA III have apprehended "Doc Mon" along Dulong Bronze St. Tugatog, Malabon City at about 4:00 PM of same date.

STRENUOUS ANTI-ILLEGAL GAMBLING OPERATION BAGS 4 INDIVIDUALS

Four persons were arrested by police operatives during an intensified Anti-Illegal Gambling Operations initiated by CIDG Northern Metro Manila District Field Unit Chief, PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III within Camanava.

A Case for Violation of Republic Act 9287 (An Act Increasing Penalties for Illegal Number Games) were slapped against the following persons acting in tandem in different occasions:
1. ROBERT RUIZ y ALTERO, a resident of 6th Ave., Bgy. 54, Caloocan City South; and
BONIFACIO DAGOHOY Jr y SIMBAHAN, a resident of 8th St., Bgy. 124, Caloocan City South.

2. NELSON ATILLO y QUIJANO of Villa Luisa, Bagumbong, Bgy. 171, Caloocan City North; and
ESTEBAN ALIBUYOG y GALOPE, also of Villa Luisa, Bagumbong, Bgy. 171, Caloocan City North.

Aforementioned suspects were apprehended (In
Flagrante) while engaged in illegal number games locally known as "Lotteng" at about 5:30 PM of January 17, 2023 along Josefina St., 5th Ave., Bgy. 177, Caloocan City North and at about 7:30 PM of January 17, 2023 along Bagumbong Road, Bgy. 171, Caloocan City North, respectively.

ANOTHER FOR 2023, WOMAN VENDOR ARRESTED
FOR INFLICTING PHYSICAL INJURIES

Acting on the Warrant of Arrest issued by HON. RUSSEL PEREZ PORTUGAL, Presiding Judge, MTC Branch 85, Caloocan City for Violation of Art. 266 of Revised Penal Code (Slight Physical Injuries) operatives of CIDG NMMDFU under the supervison of PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III arrested ROMILYN ABAD y BATAYOLA on January 5, 2023 at about 11:45 AM at C-3 Road, Bgy. 28, Caloocan City.

Said wanted person, a native of Mindanao and presently residing at Pering Dolores, Mexico, Pampanga was aprised of her constitutional rights and the nature of her offense but opted to remain silent.

DAY TWO OF 2023's MANHUNT OPERATIONS YIELDS ANOTHER WANTED PERSON.

The relentless Manhunt Operation being spearheaded by CIDG Camanava Chief, PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III resulted to the arrest of another wanted drug suspect.

CIDG Northern Metro Manila District Field Unit Operatives have apprehended NELSON BONIFACIO y TAGLE at about 8:40 AM, January 2, 2023 along 10th Street, Bgy 93, Caloocan City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest (Service of Sentence) for Violation of RA 9165 ("Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002") Issued by HON. LUIS ZENON QUIMPO MACEREN, Presiding Judge, Quezon City RTC Br 218.

Background investigation further disclosed that arrested wanted person is identified as member of Sigue Sigue Commando, a known Criminal Gang engaged in a series of illegal activities within NCR.

Arrested on the 1st day of January 2023 by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued on December 28, 2022 by HON. MAYA JOY PANAGA GUIYAB-CAMPOSANTO, Presiding Judge, MTC Branch 120, Malabon City for Violation of P.D. 1602 docketed under Criminal Case No. 986-22 was
RONALDO DUAN BOLADA Jr a native of Laguna Province.

Said wanted person with a bail fix at PhP30,000.00 for his temporary liberty was collared during a Manhunt Operation at about 11:00 AM by elements of CIDG NMMDFU under the supervision of PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III at nr 37 Jacinto St., Concepcion, Malabon City and now detained at CIDG Camanava's Lockup Facility.

SIGUE-SIGUE COMMANDOS COLLARED BY CIDG

Two members of the dreaded criminal gang, Sigue-Sigue Commando were arrested on December 27, 2022 at about 4PM along 2nd Ave, East Grace Park, Bgy. 118, Caloocan City by elements of CIDG Northern MMDFU-Camanava for Violation of Republic Act 9287 (An Act Increasing Penalties for Illegal Number Games).

Acting on the infomation that an alias "JR" is involved in illegal gambling locally known as "Lotteng" operating at East Grace Park, Caloocan City, CIDG Camanava Chief, PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III dispatched a team to validate and effect arrest if evidence warrants.

The duo were later identified as:
1. GERALDO LIM Jr. y GURAL a Tricycle Driver from Tondo, Manila; and
2. DARWIN DIONISIO y TOREVILLAS jobless, a resident of Caloocan City.

Subject persons are reportedly members of the said notorious criminal gang involved in various illegal activities operating in CAMANAVA area.

CIDG NABS WANTED TRICYCLE DRIVER & CONSTRUCTION WORKER.

In relation to CIDG's Oplan Pagtugis, a sustained Manhunt Operations being undertaken by CIDG Northern MMDFU-Camanava under the stewardship of PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III scored another in the PNP's list of arrested wanted person.
Apprehended by virtue of Arrest Warrants issued against them were
DAVIDSON MAGPAYO y SEMILLANO, a Tricycle Driver and
KELVIN ZULUETA y PALSE, a Construction Worker, both are residents of Caloocan City and were arrested for Violation of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Serious Physical Injuries and Damage to Property and for Violation of Sec. 11 of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) on December 20, 2022 at about 3PM and on December 21, 2022 at about 8:00AM, respectively.

"LUPIN" COLLARED BY CIDG.

Acting on the telephone call that four (4) malefactors armed with fi****ms forcibly entered an establishment and threatened the duty Security Guards, operatives of CIDG Camanava rushed to the given area at Dragon Asia Rolling Mills Inc. Plant, 24 MGM Industrial Compound Brgy. 165, Caloocan City.

Upon arrival at about 2:30 PM December 19, 2022 the policemen were able to see 4 malefactors making their way out at the gate of said compound, 2 of them were pushing a metal trolley containing a drum full of metal scraps.
Sensing the presence of the police officers the men scampered away in different direction. However, the operatives were able to capture one of them later identified as JEFFRY LOMONGCON y CAÑEDA an inactive employee of Dragon Asia Rolling Mills Inc. Recovered from his possession is a Caliber .38 Revolver bearing serial number 871755 loaded with 3pcs of live ammunition, likewise the metal scraps weighing more or less 200kgs of their aborted loot.

CIDG Camanava Chief, PLTCOL NICK LEDESMA III directed the filing of case for Violation of Art. 295 (Robbery with violence against or intimidation of persons) of the RPC and RA 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms &Ammunition Act) against Lomongcon & his 3 cohorts who manage to elude arrest.
