MAGSAYSAY, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO COMPLETES FY 2026 LGSF-SBDP PROJECTS, FIRST IN THE COUNTRY

The Municipality of Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro, has achieved a significant milestone as the first municipality in the country to complete an infrastructure project under the FY 2026 Local Government Support Fund–Support to the Barangay Development Program (LGSF-SBDP), hence making the MIMAROPA Region the first region in the country to report completed projects under the FY 2026 LGSF-SBDP.

This accomplishment reflects the LGU's commitment to timely and effective delivery of essential infrastructure and basic services to its constituents. It also highlights the strong coordination among the municipal and barangay officials, implementing agencies, contractors, and other stakeholders, as well as the importance of effective planning, procurement, monitoring, and quality control.

As an early completer of the FY 2026 SBDP, Magsaysay serves as a model of responsive, efficient, and results-oriented local governance, demonstrating how timely implementation can accelerate community development and improve public welfare.

The following are the completed projects under the FY 2026 SBDP of Municipality of Magsaysay, Occidental Mindoro:
- CONCRETING OF FARM-TO-MARKET ROAD, BRGY. STA. TERESA (COMPLETED as of JUNE 29, 2026)
- CONCRETING OF FARM-TO-MARKET ROAD, BRGY. POBLACION (COMPLETED as of JUNE 29, 2026)
- ELECTRIFICATION OF BARANGAY LOURDES, BRGY. LOURDES, MAGSAYSAY (COMPLETED as of JULY 28, 2026)
- CONCRETING OF FARM-TO-MARKET ROAD, BRGY. CAGURAY (COMPLETED as of AUGUST 17, 2026)

LOOK// Personnel of Calintaan Municipal Police Station (MPS), under the supervision of PMAJ ARISTOTLE S. ERMENO, Acting Chief of Police, conducted intensified mobile patrolling within the Municipality of Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro, on September 6, 2026. The activity was conducted to enhance police visibility, deter the commission of crimes, maintain peace and order, and ensure the safety and security of the residents and the general public. The personnel also monitored strategic areas and other places of convergence within their area of responsibility (AOR) and remained vigilant for any untoward incidents requiring immediate police response.

LOOK//Personnel of Calintaan Municipal Police Station (MPS) under supervision of PMAJ ARISTOTLE S ERMENO, ACOP together with BPATs members of New Dagupan provided police security and assistance during the District Meet participated in by different schools in Calintaan, Occidental Mindoro, on September 6, 2026. The personnel ensured the maintenance of peace and order, public safety, and the smooth and orderly conduct of the activity. They also assisted the participants, students, teachers, school officials, and spectators while maintaining police visibility and implementing necessary security measures throughout the event.
