The Iloilo Provincial Government continues to prioritize the mental health and well-being of Ilonggos through the Program for Resilience of Iloilo in Mind and Emotion (PRIME), a comprehensive mental health and psychosocial support initiative spearheaded by the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) under the leadership of Governor Arthur R. Defensor Jr.
PRIME was established to promote mental wellness and strengthen community resilience by providing accessible, timely, and compassionate support to individuals and families experiencing emotional distress, mental health concerns, or crisis situations.
A key component of the program is the 24/7 PRIME Helpline, which serves as a readily available support system for learners, educators, parents, and community members across the province.
The helpline offers a range of services, including crisis intervention, Psychological First Aid (PFA), supportive listening, risk assessment and classification, referral and case navigation, psychoeducation, information and resource provision, and follow-up services to ensure that clients receive appropriate care and support.
Residents may contact the PRIME Helpline anytime through the following channels:

The Iloilo Provincial Government encourages everyone to help foster a culture that values mental wellness, compassion, and resilience. Individuals who may be struggling, as well as family members, friends, or colleagues seeking assistance for someone in need, are urged to reach out through the PRIME Helpline.
Through PRIME, the Provincial Government reaffirms its commitment to building a resilient, mentally healthy, and supportive Iloilo—where every Ilonggo is reminded that they are never alone and that help is always within reach.
