The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) of Barangay Bante. With confirmation of receipt from the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), and the Sangguniang Barangay of Bante has successfully filed its first, second, third and fourth quarter reports to the Commission on Audit (COA).

As everyone can see how funds are being allocated and used, this approach not only proves compliance with legal obligations but also promotes trust within the community.

Empowering the Youth for a Brighter Tomorrow 🌟🚨👮‍♀️

The recently concluded Youth Development Symposium, held on January 18, 2025, featured insightful and meaningful discussions led by esteemed speakers. Representatives from the City Population Office, Mrs. Rosalia Guado and Mr. John Rainier Ladroma, delivered comprehensive talks addressing critical issues among the youth. Mrs. Guado highlighted the prevalence of teenage pregnancy in rural areas like Bante, while Mr. Ladroma discussed HIV treatments, self-care practices, and safe s*x to promote better health outcomes.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) Calbayog through Asst. PCAD PNCO, Pat Cherrie Ann Getigan, presented initiatives aimed at combating the use of illegal drugs among adolescents.

On the other hand, the Chairperson of the Local Youth Development Office, Mr. Abicer L. Doroja, RSW, delivered an inspiring presentation on youth empowerment, emphasizing the vital roles of young individuals in their communities and the significance of the Sangguniang Kabataan.

The SK Bante extends its heartfelt gratitude to these agencies for providing the youth with valuable guidance and fostering informed and transformative decision-making for their future.
