𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗬𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗡 | Teachers from the Calauag East District, including the teaching force of DepEd Tayo Madlandungan ES - Quezon, are currently gathered at Calauag East Central Elementary School and Municipal Sector Elementary School for a high-impact orientation focused on the latest Learning Systems Reform Policies. This initiative marks a significant step in the district's commitment to staying at the forefront of educational evolution.

To maximize the effectiveness of the session, the orientation has been thoughtfully organized by Key Stages. This specialized structure allows educators to delve deeply into the policies most relevant to their specific grade levels, fostering a space for nuanced discussion and a clearer understanding of how these reforms will be applied on the ground. By breaking down complex guidelines into actionable insights, the district ensures that every participant is not just informed, but fully empowered.

The primary objective of this activity is to bolster the professional expertise of our teachers, who serve as the backbone of the educational system. By aligning their instructional practices with modern reform policies, the district is reinforcing its dedication to the continuous improvement of teaching quality. Ultimately, this movement toward reform is centered on the learners, ensuring that every child in Calauag East receives a resilient, high-quality education that meets the demands of a changing world.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔: 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 2026

𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗬𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗡 | In a proactive move to ensure a safe and resilient opening of classes, the Department of Education (DepEd) conducted an extensive monitoring activity under Project HANDA: School Readiness 2026. The initiative aims to evaluate the structural integrity and disaster preparedness of educational facilities across the district.

The monitoring was spearheaded by Mr. Rogel F. Magsino, District DRRM School Head In-Charge, with the vital leadership and support of Ma’am Helen R. Esternon, Public Schools District Supervisor, and Mr. Sherwin L. Inofre, School Principal I.

Project HANDA focuses on a comprehensive checklist to ensure that schools are not only ready for instruction but are also safe havens for learners. As the District DRRM School Head In-Charge, Mr. Magsino emphasized that school readiness is a shared responsibility. He noted that the "HANDA" framework serves as a roadmap to mitigate risks before the rainy season and the official start of the academic calendar.

PSDS Esternon expressed her gratitude to the school personnel for their commitment to excellence. She highlighted that the success of the monitoring relies heavily on the synergy between district supervisors and school administrators.

The findings from this monitoring phase will be used to address immediate repair needs and resource gaps. By prioritizing disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM), DepEd Quezon remains steadfast in its mission to provide a conducive and secure learning environment for every learner.

The activity concluded with a high sense of optimism, reinforcing the message that through Project HANDA, the district is fully equipped and prepared for the challenges of the coming school year.

✔️ Repair & Gardening: Paint, cement, plywood, flower pots, and gardening tools.
✔️ Equipment: Electric fans, computers, and sports equipment.

Ngayong ika-164 na Araw ng Paggawa, kaisa ang Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd) sa pagpupugay sa sipag, dedikasyon, at malasakit ng bawat manggagawang Pilipino na nagsisilbi para sa pag-unlad ng bansa.

Kinikilala rin natin at pinasasalamatan ang mga manggagawa na katuwang ng DepEd sa pagtataguyod ng dekalidad na edukasyon para sa kabataang Pilipino.

𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗬𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗡 | The Alonte Sports Arena transformed into a hub of educational innovation on April 28, 2026, as thousands of delegates from across Region IV-A CALABARZON gathered for the Regional Orientation on Learning System Reform Policies. This massive assembly drew approximately 4,337 school heads and division office personnel from 25 Schools Division Offices, signaling a unified front in the Department of Education’s mission to modernize and refine the region’s learning framework.

The City Government of Biñan reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the education sector during the opening ceremonies. Representing the Office of the City Mayor, Executive Assistant Atty. Ramzel Pedron welcomed the vast crowd, highlighting the essential partnership between the local government unit and DepEd in fostering an environment conducive to academic growth.

Dr. Carlito D. Rocafort, Regional Director of Region IV-A, set a progressive tone for the assembly by urging educators to view the upcoming reforms not as a source of unsettling change, but as a strategic evolution. He emphasized that change in education should be embraced as an opportunity to improve how schools respond to the specific needs of learners. According to Dr. Rocafort, these reforms aim to make education more relevant to modern societal demands while ensuring absolute inclusivity, providing every learner—regardless of their personal situation—an equal chance at success.

The energy shifted from policy to practice as Assistant Secretary for Learning System Strands Jerome T. Buenviaje took the stage. He energized the participants with a dynamic "snowball activity," a collaborative exercise designed to break down barriers and encourage leaders to exchange effective practices and innovative ideas for the upcoming school year.

Among the dedicated attendees were Mrs. Helen R. Esternon, Public Schools District Supervisor and the 22 School Heads of Calauag East District, who joined their colleagues in representing the Schools Division of Quezon headed by Dr. Rommel C. Bautista, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent. Their presence underscored the grassroots commitment to the reform, ensuring that the insights gained at the regional level would be directly applied to the benefit of students in the communities of Calauag.

A significant highlight of the orientation was the active participation of representatives from all 25 Schools Division Offices, who engaged in an open dialogue regarding the newly presented policies. This segment encouraged a meaningful exchange of ideas where personnel provided valuable insights based on their respective local contexts. By sharing their thoughts and reflections, the delegates were able to highlight key considerations and identify potential challenges, effectively strengthening their readiness for implementation.

The event concluded with a reinforced sense of unity and leadership among the region's educational stakeholders. As these school heads and division personnel return to their respective communities, they carry a clearer roadmap for advancing learning reforms intended to elevate the quality of education throughout CALABARZON.
