Today, we bow to every woman who carries the spirit of a mother. 🌷
Motherhood is not defined only by birth — it is defined by care, protection, wisdom, and love. It is found in the aunt who guides, the mentor who nurtures, the sister who stands by, and every woman who opens her heart to lift others up.
To all mothers and mother-figures in our circle and beyond: thank you for shaping lives, healing hearts, and making the world softer, stronger, and more beautiful. Your contributions are seen, valued, and cherished.
Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at MIWA. 💜

"The Earth does not belong to us; we belong to the Earth." 🌍

MIWA | NURTURING NATURE, EMBRACING SERENITY 🌱

After planting roots and giving back to the soil, we rewarded ourselves with the beauty of what we protect. ✨

Beneath the scorching heat of the sun, we found sweet refuge in the arms of nature. A peaceful visit to Suyac Island Mangrove Eco-Park reminded us why we fight for the environment. Walking through the lush greenery, feeling the cool breeze, and taking a refreshing dip was the perfect way to reconnect with nature’s wonders. 🌊🧡

Mangroves are the guardians of our coasts, providing us shelter and life. There is no better satisfaction than working for the earth, then witnessing its breathtaking beauty right before our eyes.

MIWA PLANTS FOR TOMORROW 🌱

Mission accomplished! ✅
We believe that the best time to plant a tree was yesterday, and the second best time is now. We don't just plant trees; we plant hope for a cooler, greener future. 🌳💚

Grateful for the day spent connecting with nature and being part of the solution. Let us heal the earth before it heals without us.

With heartfelt gratitude to our partners and supporters: 🙏✨
To SK Chairman John Mark Balansag for making this initiative possible, Kagawad Borgonia for the unwavering support, Ma'am Anabelle Batusbatusan and Ma'am Billy Bascar for nourishing us with morning meals, and Boss Ramon Solidum for always ensuring our safe journey.

Thank you for planting seeds of kindness with us. God bless you all! 🌿🤍

Heartfelt congratulations to Brgy. Marcelo on the successful culmination of the National Women’s Month celebration for the Municipality of Calatrava! The event was a vibrant testament to community unity, with representatives from diverse sectors coming together to participate and support this meaningful occasion—including 40 members of Kalipi and BVAW from various barangays across the municipality.

Among the many highlights was the "Got Talent" competition, where the Senior Citizens group showcased remarkable skill and passion, ultimately taking home the championship prize. Their achievement truly shone a spotlight on enduring talent and indomitable spirit. The gathering also drew active participation from other key groups: the Erpats, Solo Parents Association, Indigenous Peoples (IP) community, and numerous other organizations and individuals from throughout Calatrava.

Each sector brought unique energy and contributions, making the celebration more than just a recognition of women’s achievements and vital roles in society. It was a beautiful display of collaboration, inclusivity, and the shared pride that binds our municipality together.
