State of the School Address
March 27, 2026
The Balingit-Constantino Lasip Elementary School successfully conducted the PTA Meeting, 4th Quarter Card Day, and State of the School Address (SOSA) on March 27, 2026. The activity gathered parents, teachers, PTA officers and members, local officials, and other stakeholders to review the progress of the school and strengthen the partnership between the school and the community.
During the program, School Principal I, Mrs. Imelda F. Parayno, presented the State of the School Address, highlighting the significant accomplishments and developments of the school for the school year. She proudly shared the successful installation of the school front signage, which now serves as a symbol of identity and pride for the school community. She also reported the installation of solar lights within the school premises, providing better illumination and safety for learners, teachers, and visitors.
Mrs. Parayno also emphasized the school's continuous commitment to improving the academic performance of the learners through the implementation of reading and numeracy programs aimed at reducing the number of struggling readers and non-numerates in the school. These programs have greatly helped in strengthening the foundational skills of the learners.
Another important milestone discussed was the successful transfer of the school’s electric meter from the barangay to the school, which now allows the school to manage its electricity services more efficiently. She likewise highlighted the continuous improvement of the Gulayan sa Paaralan, which supports the school’s nutrition program and promotes the value of gardening among learners.
Among the biggest accomplishments announced was the approval of the high-rise school building, which is expected to greatly benefit the school community by providing additional classrooms and improving the learning environment for the growing number of learners.
Mrs. Parayno emphasized that all these achievements were made possible through the shared efforts and strong collaboration of the BC Lasip teaching force, local officials, stakeholders, PTA officers and members, who continuously support the programs and projects of the school.
The activity concluded with the distribution of the 4th Quarter report cards, where parents were able to discuss their children’s academic progress with the teachers. The event served as a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the school’s accomplishments and strengthen the partnership between the school and the community in working toward quality education for all learners.
