𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬 | In compliance with Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, this Office announces the adoption of the Four-Day Workweek Arrangement for the Regional Office and Provincial Fisheries Offices (PFOs) starting March 9, 2026.

🗓️ Work Schedule:Monday to Thursday
⏰ Office Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📍 Coverage: DA-BFAR Region 7 Office

Under this arrangement, offices covered by the policy will operate four days per week with extended working hours to ensure continued delivery of services.

Meanwhile, offices that provide essential, frontline services requiring continuous operations, such as the Technology Outreach Stations, Quarantine Stations, and Legislated Hatcheries, will maintain a skeleton workforce to keep their normal work schedules and ensure uninterrupted public service.

We encourage all stakeholders and clients to schedule their transactions within the new office hours.

Based on the laboratory analysis conducted by the Regional Fisheries Laboratory, water samples collected on February 20, 2026, from the coastal waters of Dauis and Tagbilaran City in Bohol, were screened 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 for the presence of 𝑷𝒚𝒓𝒐𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒖𝒎 𝒃𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒆.

To protect human lives and lessen the effects on the shellfish industry while awaiting the results of the shellfish analysis, this 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐩. 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚𝐬 “𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠” 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐚𝐮𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥.

Fish, squid, crab, and shrimp are safe to eat as long as all entrails are removed and washed thoroughly under running water before consumption.

The BFAR and LGU are committed to continuously monitoring the abovementioned area to safeguard public health and protect the shellfish industry.
