CALAMBA CITY COUNCILOR GIGI ALCASID
Born on December 23, 1984 at JP Hospital Calamba Laguna. Her father is RACTAN MANACSA ALCASID (son of Atty. VIVE RIZAL ALCASID and FELY NAPALIAD MANACSA) and her mother is MYRNA ALZONA AQUINO (daughter of Atty. DANIEL SIM AQUINO and MILAGROS CANSANAY ALZONA). Born and raised in a Filipino values and tradition, simple, and loving family. She was raised with th
e core values of a Filipino; to respect everyone especially the elders. She was elected as Sangguniang Kabataan Chairman of Brgy IV from 2002 to 2005. She attended Elementary and from 2nd yr up to 4th yr Highschool at LAGUNA COLLEGE OF BUSINESS AND ARTS. JOHN ACADEMY during her 1st yr in high school. And for College; She graduated at UNIVERSITY OF PERPETUAL HELP BINAN year 2005. She took up AB Communication Arts major in Mass Communication. With her time management and multi-tasking skills, she completed her four year course and finished her duty as SK Chairman. At the same time before she graduated college she passed the airline exams and training and certified to work for ASIAN SPIRIT AIRLINE as a FLIGHT ATTENDANT. She also become Host for Laguna Love ko 'to at Royal Cable TV6 it is a local channel in Laguna. She was elected as Calamba City Councilor last 2013. She love and happy helping people. She gave and extend everything as much and as long as she can. She gave more or less 1000 wheelchairs around LUZON with the help and permission of ONE WORLD INSTITUTE. From then up to now she is not stopping doing her projects Free slippers of the children, Feeding program, giving some livelihood programs individual or groups, giving Free Cakes for the senior Citizen of brgy 4, giving small gifts to the kids every Christmas, giving cakes to the presidents of TODA on their birthday, giving Free Manicure, haircut and massage to the senior citizen of different brgys, giving school supplies to the daycare students, she requested to the PCSO thru Calambeno to gave 1 nebulizer and 1 BP to be given away to the 54brgys, she's tying up with the Department of Health to be able to give medicine to different brgys, and many many more....
She is continuously researching how can she be able to give help like employments to the youth, livelihood programs to the men and women, and programs for the elders. And studying the RESOLUTIONS and ORDINANCES for the City of Calamba and for our beloved Calambenos.
