EVENT RECAP: CITY OF CALAMBA COASTAL CLEAN-UP DRIVE

Nurturing the Coast through Scouting ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒŠ

On September 12, 2026, the City of Calamba Council successfully conducted the Coastal Clean-Up Drive, embodying the timeless values of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. Guided by the theme โ€œNurturing the Coast through Scouting,โ€ the event served as a vital platform for youth leaders to demonstrate their commitment to environmental stewardship and community service.

Through this initiative, participants not only strengthened their camaraderie but also upheld the scouting ideals of integrity and active citizenship. By taking tangible action to protect our local waterways, these young leaders proved that the scouting spirit is alive and well in Calamba.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the participating schools for their dedication and service: Punta IS, Liceo de Calamba, LCBA, Bunggo IS, Kapayapaan IS, Majada-in IS, Canossa Calamba, and Xavier School Nuvali.

With pride and joy, the City of Calamba Council honors SS. Maria Jezreel Keziah D. Kahayon for her outstanding achievement in the Search for Ten Outstanding Boy Scouts of the Philippines โ€“ Southern Tagalog Region!

๐Ÿ“Held at Abuyod Camp, Brgy. Abuyod, Teresa, Rizal, Jezreel represented our city with honor, embodying the true spirit of a Calambeรฑo scout, Resilient, disciplined, and committed to excellence.

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) City of Calamba Council took a meaningful step toward sustainability with a Tree Planting and Community Service Activity held at the Makiling National Scout Reservation (MNSR), Los Baรฑos, Laguna, on August 1, 2026! ๐ŸŒฑโœจ

In partnership with Kooperatiba ng Sangay ng Calamba (๐Š๐Ž๐’๐€๐‚๐€), we planted trees to foster a greener future while strengthening our bond with the community. This initiative aligns with the BSP Scout Law:
โ€œA Scout is thrifty" We are wise in the use of resources. By planting trees, we honor this principle and contribute to environmental stewardship.

This initiative would not have been possible without the unwavering support of:
