Keep your financial records on track! The Commission on Audit (COA) has officially released Circular No. 2026-001, providing the much-needed updates to our SK Financial Transactions Handbook.

Updates on the Handbook on the Financial Transactions of the Sangguniang Kabataan to Provide Accounting Guidelines on the Proper Recording and Reporting of the Honoraria and Other Personnel Services Granted to SK Officials pursuant to Section 4 of Republic Act (RA) No. 11768, Amending for the Purpose Certain Sections of RA No. 10742, and Other Relevant Accounting Policies and Guidelines in the Implementation Thereof.

This new circular specifically addresses the accounting guidelines for the proper recording and reporting of:

✅ Honoraria
✅ Other Personnel Services
✅ Mandatory Benefits under RA 11768

Ensuring transparency and accountability in our youth governance starts with correct bookkeeping. Make sure your SK Treasurers and Secretaries are updated on these new reporting standards!
