๐๐ ๐ช๐๐๐ โ In a decisive step toward smarter governance and more responsive public service delivery, the Schools Division Office (SDO) of San Pedro City formally rolled out the SDO Click Ecosystem, a digital innovation initiative designed to streamline office processes and improve client engagement, aligning closely with the Five-Point Agenda of Education Secretary Sonny Angara.
Held under the banner โTowards a Smarter SDO San Pedro City with SDO Click,โ the program brought together education leaders, supervisors, school heads, and non-teaching personnel to collectively advance the Department of Educationโs thrust for efficiency, accountability, and digitally enabled governance.
The activity opened with preliminaries and an audio-visual presentation that set the tone for a future-ready schools divisionโone that embraces technology as a tool for reform rather than resistance to change.

Consuelo underscored that SDO Click directly supports Secretary Angaraโs agenda on modernizing education governance by simplifying transactions, reducing manual processes, and improving transparency in service delivery. The initiative, Consuelo noted, reflects the divisionโs commitment to making systems work better for both internal clients and stakeholders in schools.

The core of the activity was the presentation of the SDO Click Program by Lyka Jane A. Leosala, Information Technology Officer I, who walked participants through the platformโs purpose and functionality.
SDO Click serves as a centralized digital gateway where teachers, school heads, and personnel can access services, submit requests, and track transactions efficiently. The system responds directly to Secretary Angaraโs push for bureaucratic efficiency and ease of access, ensuring that education workers spend more time focusing on teaching and learning rather than paperwork.
By reducing turnaround time and promoting accountability through digital tracking, SDO Click strengthens institutional processes while reinforcing a culture of innovation within the division.
