As one of the spectacular highlights of the 47th Lanzones Festival, 300 synchronized drones transformed the night sky above the Cong. PPR Sports Complex & Tourism Center in Mambajao into a breathtaking display of lights.

Featuring stunning formations inspired by Camiguinโ€™s iconic lanzones, rich cultural heritage, and breathtaking tourist attractions, the show beautifully showcased the islandโ€™s unique charm and vibrant tourism spirit.

The Department of Tourism โ€“ Region 10 advises all tourists, travelers, and tourism stakeholders to closely monitor updates on Super Typhoon ROSAL, internationally known as CHAMPI, which was inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 8:00 AM on October 22, 2026.

According to PAGASA Weather Advisory No. 8, issued at 11:00 AM, heavy rainfall is expected in Batanes, Apayao, and Cagayan until October 23, with additional rainfall forecast in Batanes until October 24. Rainfall may be heavier in mountainous and elevated areas, and accumulated rainfall may increase the risk of flooding and landslides.

Safety Reminders for Tourists:

Avoid unnecessary travel during periods of heavy rain.

Do not cross flooded roads, swollen rivers, or landslide-prone areas.

Postpone outdoor activities, including hiking, beach trips, and island-hopping, when weather conditions become unsafe.

Camiguin officially opened the 47th Lanzones Festival on October 18, 2026, with the UGMAD Agro-Industrial Tourism Trade Fair and the much-awaited Lanzones Eat-All-You-Can!

The streets of Oroquieta City came alive as we celebrated the 15th Grand Concept Parade last October 17, 2026! As part of the month-long Inug-og Festival and following our City Fiesta celebration on October 16, this year's parade showcased wild creativity and artistry centered on the theme: Animal Kingdom.

Since starting back in 2012, the Grand Concept Parade has been one of Oroquietaโ€™s most anticipated highlights, featuring two major competing categories:
