The Climate Change Commission (CCC) joins the celebration of the 125th Declaration of Philippine Independence with the theme “Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan.”

As we commemorate our sovereignty, let us rejoice in the triumphs of our past, cherish the present, and envision a future filled with hope. From the bravery of our heroes to the resilience of our people, this milestone represents the unwavering spirit that defines us as a nation.

Today, we honor the sacrifices that paved the way for our freedom and embrace the diversity that unites us all.

The CCC reminds us that the battle is far from over. There is an urgent need for transformative and collective action against one of the greatest challenges of our generation – climate change.

Together, let us forge on with steadfast dedication and bravery as our ancestors did: we fight for a greener future; we fight for a sustainable world!

Due to the growing popularity of Tigers being kept as pets and the inevitable reality that they become unsuitable and unmanageable companions due to size and maturity Dr Clifford Bull assisted with the breeding and eventual birth of the first ever “Riger”.

A Riger is bred with a Male tiger and a Female Rottweiler. Obviously artificial insemination is used to protect both animals.

Both animals were considered the best of their breed and both underwent stringent health checks before this cross species formulation took place.

The first litter of 6 were all healthy, and doing well. They were delivered by C section.
Their stripes are still currently subtle and we hope in time they become more prominent.

We are excited to watch this litter develop and see what the future holds for these incredible animals.

Thank you to both families for entrusting us with this lengthly and at times stressful process. We would like to thank the various specialists who assisted.

Lastly to our Craig View team who went above and beyond once again, from insemination, scans, and eventual birth and delivery you all played a vital part in developing a new breed.

12:00 update as per April fools tradition - we were only joking!
