In an atmosphere of openness and sincerity, Jail Warden JSINSP MARY ROSE S PACANA engaged all 239 female PDL through a Wardenโ€™s Dialogue held after the TCMP morning program. The activity provided a meaningful opportunity for PDL to express their concerns, share their thoughts, and raise questions that matter to their daily lives inside the facility. More than a formal engagement, it became a moment of listening and connection, reinforcing dignity, respect, and humanity within the correctional environment.

Supporting the dialogue were all Chief Unit Heads, who actively responded to the queries raised, offering clear explanations and immediate guidance on matters affecting programs, services, and internal processes. Their presence helped ensure that every concern was acknowledged and addressed with care and understanding. The activity strengthened trust between personnel and PDL, fostering a more compassionate and responsive environment where communication becomes a bridge toward growth, healing, and hope.

Under the leadership of JSINSP MARY ROSE S PACANA, CDOCJ-FD continuously implements the Bureauโ€™s Therapeutic Community Modality Program (TCMP) through its daily TCMP Morning Meeting. Facilitated by TC Implementers JO2 Manlawe and JO1 Paderna, the activity remains a vital component of the facilityโ€™s rehabilitation efforts. As a treatment and recovery-oriented approach, TCMP helps foster personal accountability, positive behavioral change, emotional stability, and healthy social interaction among PDL.

A total of 239 female PDL from all dormitories actively participated in the activity. Through structured sessions on value formation, personal reflection, and community-building, the program encourages participants to develop life skills, strengthen self-discipline, and build a supportive community within the facility. The daily conduct of TCMP reinforces the Bureauโ€™s commitment to holistic rehabilitation and prepares PDL for their eventual reintegration into society as productive and responsible individuals.

A high-energy 60-minute session burns between 350 to 650 calories, helping us stay in peak physical condition to face the daily challenges of our profession. Beyond the heavy cardio, it acts as a powerful stress-reliever; the upbeat rhythms trigger a massive release of endorphins that flushes out workplace fatigue and resets our mental clarity. By stepping out of our strict routines and dancing together, we aren't just staying fitโ€”we are building stronger camaraderie, boosting team morale, and ensuring that the CDOCJ-FD team remains healthy, energized, and always ready to serve!

Cagayan de Oro City Jailโ€“Female Dormitory, under the leadership of Jail Warden JSINSP MARY ROSE S PACANA, conducted a Joint Greyhound Operation in partnership with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) to strengthen jail security and ensure a contraband-free environment.

The operation resulted in the detection of no contraband items, reaffirming the facilityโ€™s commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and drug-free detention facility for all Persons Deprived of Liberty.
