President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. graces the 1st Anniversary of the JERA-AboitizPower Global Technical Center of Excellence (GTCOE) at LIMA Tower One within the LIMA Estate in Malvar and Lipa City, Batangas on September 7, 2026.

Established by AboitizPower and Japan's Energy for a New Era (JERA), the GTCOE serves as a Center for Technical Education and hands-on training in power generation and maintenance, supporting the development of technical talent across the energy sector.

In support of the country’s continued technological advancement and its goal of harnessing innovation to improve the lives of Filipinos, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the 2026 Presidential Filipinnovation Awards (PFA) National Competition Awarding Ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Galleria along Ortigas Avenue in Quezon City on September 3, 2026.

The PFA is an annual recognition program honoring individuals and enterprises that develop innovative products, services, technologies or solutions with strong commercial and societal value.

As the country’s highest recognition for innovation, this year’s PFA follows a two-tier format, including the Sub-National Competitions covering the National Capital Region (NCR), Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao; and the National Competition, where five (5) will be named the 2026 Presidential Filipinnovation Awardees.
