Saving abused and abandoned young girls from age o to 18 years. The House of Joy – a Home-not an institution For abused, abandoned young girls Our Vision We provide a HOME, Love, Family Values, Education, physical, spiritual and emotional nourishment and hope for a wonderful future. When we change a young girl’s life, we change her family as well. An uneducated, abused, abandoned girl will grow up bringing children into the same environment of poverty and abuse. An educated girl is 90% more likely to be certain that her children are also educated. We envision to reintegrate our children back to their families with human dignity and purpose living and practicing God’s Values committed to promote love and life with strong Love and Faith. The House of Joy serving God by serving HIS children. Matthew 25:40 The House of Joy has been providing a home for girls for more than 18 years. Our children, all girls, are from age 5 months to 18 years old. Most of our little girls have been sexually abused, abandoned, left for dead at our door, physically and emotionally damaged, ravaged with parasites and malnutrition... The worst type of poverty is not hunger... It is the feeling of being UnLoved... This fortress was called Castel di Leva (Leva Castle). On 25 March, 1934, Don Umberto founds the first Orphanage of the Sisters of Our Lady of Divine Love in Italy Bontong, Camanman-an .
