The Abamin Party-list ranks 16th out of 157 party-lists in the latest pre-election survey conducted by the OCTA Research Group.
Held from January 25 to 31, the survey revealed that ABAMIN garnered 1.80% of the votes, marking an improvement from its previous 17th-place (1.16%) ranking in the November 10โ16, 2024 survey.
ABAMINโs first nominee, former Congressman Maxie Rodriguez, expressed gratitude to supporters and party-list members for their unwavering dedication and hard-work in grassroots campaigns.
Meanwhile, ABAMIN Party-list founder Congressman Rufus Rodriguez welcomed the survey results, emphasizing that they reflect Mindanaoโs growing call for greater representation in Congress.
He highlighted the party-list commitment to delivering more programs and projects, particularly in infrastructure, scholarships, medical assistance, and livelihood and employment opportunities for Mindanaonons.
ABAMIN represents various sectors, including indigenous peoples (IPs), laborers, senior citizens, the urban poor, informal settlers, overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), and farmers.
Previously, ABAMIN served in Congress during the 2010โ2013 and 2013โ2016 terms, championing initiatives that benefited its represented sectors.
