CFC Singles for Christ Tagoloan Chapter

CFC Singles for Christ (SFC) is one of the family ministries of Couples for Christ (CFC).

The ministry was established in April 1993 to cater to the needs of single men and women from 18 to 40 years of age. Singles for Christ is the next generation of Couples for Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit to journey and witness with single men and women in their discovery and pursuit of vocations and the fullness of the mission towards building a Christ-centered society.

𝗘𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆

Brothers and sisters, when you think of the word "church," do you only picture a grand building with high ceilings and stained glass?

The early Church actually looked very different. It started with families gathered closely in their homes, transforming a simple family meal into a profound reflection of the Eucharist. It wasn’t about the grandeur of a building; it was about the sacredness of the community.

Today, our families are still meant to mirror the Holy Mass—listening to the Word, sharing a meal, and being sent out into the world together. To build a strong family is to invite God directly into our homes.

Our journey in H.A.V.E.N. continues to gather us around this domestic altar, deepening our unity with Him and with one another.

𝗔 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲.

The family is God’s living sanctuary. Its mission is to anchor the world in His presence, transforming the ordinary acts of daily life into an extraordinary witness of faith, forgiveness, and love.

As we look back on Talk 5, we are reminded that a family rooted in God becomes a beacon of hope. Through prayer, presence, and selfless service, the home witnesses His love and naturally passes the light of the Gospel to a changing world.

Our brothers and sisters were lovingly formed within Christian families, nurtured by faith, prayer, and God's grace. And in time, these same faces will become the builders of Christian families of our own, passing on the love of Christ to future generations.

As we continue our journey of faith, may we carry with us the values we have received, becoming living witnesses of God's love and instruments through whom more families may come to know, love, and serve Him.

“𝘍𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘧𝘶𝘭. 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘴, 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘯.

Through this reflection led by Bro. Kenneth Rafer, we are reminded that to become a Christian family is part of God's plan for us, a family rooted in His love and guided by His grace.

By sharing meals, praying together, and spending meaningful time with one another, we grow closer not only as a family but also in our relationship with God. May we never miss the chance to show our love to our families while we still can, allowing His love to be the foundation of our homes.

Brothers and sisters, did you know that the best coffee trees grow in the shade of a canopy?

Delicate coffee plants thrive best when sheltered beneath taller, deeply rooted trees.

In a world full of harsh secular pressures and scorching busyness, our Christian Family mirrors this ecosystem. Our homes are meant to be God's protective canopy.

Yet, we cannot do this in isolation. God graciously extends this shelter through the SFC Community, giving us a larger forest of faith, brotherhood, and accountability to nurture our personal growth. No branch can survive the heat of modern busyness alone! By anchoring ourselves in the community and grounding our homes in Christ, we create a vibrant "domestic church" where our families can safely grow and bloom.

A GENTLE SWEETNESS in our homes, a protective CANOPY of faith, and a deep root in Christ create a vibrant DOMESTIC CHURCH within our SFC community. SEE YOU THERE!

𝗘𝘂𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆

“This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

When we receive the Eucharist, we aren't just taking part in a ritual; we are partaking the very body and blood of Christ. We get to know Him not from a distance, but in the most intimate way possible—by letting Him nourish our souls from the inside out.

But the mystery of the altar doesn’t end when Mass is over.

Just like the early Christians who shared everything they had, we are called to take that grace out into the world. Loving our neighbor means taking a cue from the Bread of Life. It means being willing to become the Eucharist for others; allowing ourselves to be broken, poured out, and shared for a world that is starving for love.

In H.A.V.E.N., we gather to be filled, so that we can go out and give. We don't just consume His love; we strive to embody it.

Come and be nourished, brothers and sisters, so that together we can learn how to love like Him.

𝗧𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗯𝗼𝗿.

Loving God and loving our neighbor are inseparable at the heart of the Christian life. To love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength is the greatest commandment. True love for God is revealed in how we love others. We are called to love our neighbor not only as ourselves, but as God loves them.

As we reflect on Talk 4, we are reminded that loving God is only possible through His grace. Jesus loved without conditions and gave His life for all, showing us what it truly means to love our neighbor.

As we welcome the new module of our Christian Life Program, we are reminded of the two greatest commandments God has called us to live out — to love Him and to love our neighbors.

Our brothers and sisters have taken a beautiful step of faith by joining this community out of their love for God. And as we journey together, may we also learn to become true neighbors to one another, extending love, kindness, and compassion in the same way Christ calls us to.
