𝗕𝗗𝗗 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Assisting MSMEs in Brgy. Baikingon, Bugo, and Puntod

As part of the City Government's "Kuyug ta sa Serbisyo sa Baryo" (KSB) program, the Business Development Division (BDD) of the Oro Trade and Investment Promotions Center (ORTIPC) brought Business Name Registration System (BNRS) services closer to aspiring and existing entrepreneurs in the barangays.

✔️ Assisted 10 clients

📍 May 23, 2025 – Brgy. Baikingon
✔️ Assisted 27 clients

📍 May 30, 2025 – Brgy. Puntod
✔️ Assisted 10 clients

Through these KSB outreach activities, a total of 47 entrepreneurs were assisted in registering their business names, enabling them to formalize their enterprises and access greater opportunities for growth and development.

By bringing essential business services directly to the communities, ORTIPC-BDD continues to support local MSMEs and strengthen grassroots economic development through accessible and people-centered governance.

Last May 29, 2026, Ginamâ OTOP Hub successfully hosted a 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 with our local travel and tour operators, reconnecting and paving the way for a renewed partnership between Ginamâ OTOP Hub and the Cagayan de Oro Travel and Tours Association, Inc. (COTTA, Inc.).

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝐌𝐬. 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐚, President of COTTA, Inc., and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐀𝐯𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐲𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐧, Assistant Department Head of the City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, for bringing together our valued travel and tour agency partners for this meaningful engagement.

A special highlight of the event was the participation of our Ginamâ suppliers, who showcased their products through free tasting sessions and product presentations, giving attendees a firsthand experience of the quality and uniqueness of locally made products.

The gathering also served as a productive exchange of ideas, with COTTA members generously sharing valuable insights, recommendations, and strategies on how Ginamâ can attract more tourists and become a more compelling stopover destination for visitors. Their suggestions and industry expertise provided fresh perspectives that will help strengthen the store’s role in promoting local products and enhancing the overall visitor experience in Cagayan de Oro.
