The City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC), through the City Anti-Drug Abuse Division – Oro Wellness Center, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴-𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴-𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 status following the annual retention validation.

These barangays had already earned their respective status in previous years, and through sustained efforts, compliance, and strong community participation, they have successfully maintained it once again.

The validation for existing Drug-Free and Drug-Cleared Barangays is conducted annually, making this achievement a testament to their continuing commitment—not only to achieve the status, but to sustain and protect the gains they have worked hard for.

Dili lang kay nakab-ot, kundili napadayon ug napabilin! Padayon sa pagtinabangay aron mapreserbar ang kalinaw, kaluwasan, ug kaayohan sa atong mga komunidad.

The Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC), led by Hon. Rudy O. Lago, Punong Barangay, participated in the Mangrove Growing and Coastal Clean-up Drive held at Punta, Bonbon, Cagayan de Oro City, earlier today, July 17, 2026.
The activity aimed to promote environmental protection and sustainability while encouraging community participation, responsibility, and volunteerism. It also sought to strengthen the commitment of Recovering Persons Who Used Drugs (RPWUDs) by engaging them in meaningful community service, fostering discipline, teamwork, and social responsibility as part of their recovery and reintegration into society.
Present during the activity were Hon. Lorna M. Maagad, Committee Chairperson on Advocacy; Ceres C. Josol, CBDRP Manager; the service providers; Corazon S. Parojinog, VAW Officer; Michelle Y. Maandig, BDRRMC Staff; and the Recovering Persons Who Used Drugs (RPWUDs).
