0500H May 14, 2026, personnel of the Balubal Fire Sub-Station, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐒 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧, Sub-Station Commander, under the supervision of 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐈𝐂 𝐆 𝐆𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐙, Station 8 Puerto Fire Station Commander were deployed at Purok 1, Barangay Balubal, Balubal National High School, to provide assistance and support during the Department of Education’s (DEPED) First Rescue Olympics.

The activity was participated in by teachers and school personnel aimed at strengthening their knowledge, skills, and practical experience in rescue operations, emergency response, and basic firefighting procedures. The program also promotes disaster preparedness, teamwork, and awareness in handling emergency situations within the school and community.

The Bureau of Fire Protection continuously supports community-based programs and educational initiatives that promote preparedness, resilience, and public safety among the youth and the community.

On this day, we honor the Feast of St. Florian, the patron saint of firefighters.

A Roman military officer martyred in 304 AD, St. Florian is remembered for his legendary bravery in organizing fire brigades and saving a village from a massive blaze. His legacy of sacrifice and protection remains the heart of our mission today.

To our modern-day heroes in the BFP, thank you for your courage and commitment to keeping our communities safe.

🚒 BFP BALUBAL FIRE SUB-STATION ON DUTY 🚑

0500H MAY 04, 2026, duty personnel from Station 8C Balubal Fire Sub-Station, led by 𝐒𝐅𝐎𝟑 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐒 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧, Balubal Fire Sub-Station Commander, under the supervision of 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣 𝗔𝗟𝗥𝗜𝗖 𝗗 𝗚𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗭, Station 8 Puerto Fire Station Commander, were deployed at Purok 1, Barangay Balubal in support of the USTP Centennial Activity: Color Fun Run.

The responding team provided medical rescue assistance and ensured visibility and safety coverage throughout the duration of the event.

This deployment highlights the commitment of the Bureau of Fire Protection in ensuring public safety during community activities and gatherings.
