15TH STRIKE WING UNVEILS AND BLESSES WEST PHILIPPINE SEA MURAL AT LUMBIA AIR BASE
The 15th Strike Wing, Philippine Air Force, led by MGEN ROMAN M DIOSO PAF, Commander, Air Combat Command, and BGEN JOEL A INACAY PAF, Wing Commander, 15th Strike Wing, conducted the Unveiling and Blessing of the West Philippine Sea Mural at Lumbia Air Base, Cagayan de Oro City.
The blessing was officiated by CPT MEDARDO A JUMAMOY CHS, Base Chaplain, and was attended by officers and enlisted personnel of the 15th Strike Wing and 590th Air Base Group.
The mural stands as a meaningful representation of the Philippines’ sovereignty, territorial integrity, and enduring commitment to protecting our national interests. It also serves as a reminder of the dedication and vigilance of the men and women of the Philippine Air Force in the service of the Filipino people.
The mural will serve as a lasting source of awareness, inspiration, and patriotism for the civilian populace who see it each day. By keeping the West Philippine Sea in the public consciousness, it seeks to foster a deeper appreciation of our national sovereignty and encourage the continued support of the Filipino people for the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ advocacy in safeguarding our national interests.
