The Lupong Tagapamayapa Enhancement Seminar was conducted by the 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗚 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗴𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗶 and participated by the Barangay Bayabas Officials headed by PB Rudy O. Lago together with the Members of the Lupong Tagapamayapa and Staff on March 19, 2025 at the Barracks Garden Resort, Barangay Bayabas, this city.

The key objectives of the seminar includes:
(1) 𝑼𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑲𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒂𝒚 𝑳𝒂𝒘,
(2) 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔,
(3) 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒔,
(4) 𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒐𝒍𝒆-𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔,
(5) 𝑬𝒏𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒖𝒍𝒆𝒔, 𝑷𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔,
(6) 𝑹𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒕 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, and
(7) 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑮𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆.

This seminar aims to enhance their skills in mediating, conciliating, and arbitrating disputes within the jurisdiction of Barangay Bayabas, ultimately promoting peace and harmony while reducing the need for formal court proceedings.

𝑳𝑻𝑰𝑨 𝑨𝑺𝑺𝑬𝑺𝑺𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻 (𝑪𝑰𝑻𝒀 𝑳𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑳) 𝑪𝒀 2024

The Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives Awards (LTIA) shall be conducted annually in order to highlight the role of the Lupong Tagapamayapa in communities primarily in the Barangays and their resourcefulness in resolving the cases/disputes under the Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) or the Barangay Justice System.

The Barangay Bayabas Lupong Tagapamayapa, under the leadership of 𝙋𝘽 𝙍𝙪𝙙𝙮 𝙊. 𝙇𝙖𝙜𝙤 participated in the LTIA Onsite Assessment on 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 18, 2025, held at the Barangay Bayabas Multipurpose Hall. The City Assessment Team is composed of different government agencies (DILG-CDO, City Legal Office, Office of the Prosecutor & PNP) and NGOs.

The assessment focuses on factors like efficiency, effectiveness, and creativity in dispute resolution, as well as the lupon's ability to comply with program objectives and standards.

𝙇𝙐𝙋𝙊𝙉𝙂 𝙏𝘼𝙂𝘼𝙋𝘼𝙈𝘼𝙔𝘼𝙋𝘼 𝙊𝙁 𝘽𝘼𝙍𝘼𝙉𝙂𝘼𝙔 𝘽𝘼𝙔𝘼𝘽𝘼𝙎 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙨 𝙊𝙐𝙏𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙇𝙐𝙋𝙊𝙉

𝙇𝙪𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙥𝙖 of Barangay Bayabas under the able leadership of Punong Barangay 𝙃𝙤𝙣. 𝙍𝙪𝙙𝙮 𝙊𝙡𝙖𝙥𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙜𝙤 recognized by the City Government of Cagayan de Oro in collaboration with the Department of Interior and Local Government as one of the 𝙊𝙪𝙩𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙇𝙪𝙥𝙤𝙣 (7th Runner Up) during the awarding ceremony held on March 13, 2025 at the City Tourism Hall.

The recognition was assessed during the conduct of 𝙇𝙪𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙥𝙖 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 (𝙇𝙏𝙄𝘼) 𝙊𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘾𝙔 2024 that recognizes their exemplary performance in the amicable settlement of barangay disputes which immensely contributed to the decongestion of court cases and in promoting harmonious relationships among its constituents.

Barangay Tibungco headed by PB 𝙈𝙀𝙍𝙅𝘼𝘿𝙀 𝘿𝙀𝙇𝙀𝙎 𝘾𝘼𝙇𝙑𝙊 together with their Lupong Tagapamayapa members and staff welcomes the Barangay Bayabas with an ethos of love, dedication and hardwork. Thus, The Lupong Tagapamayapa Barangay Bayabas is truly honored to Barangay Tibungco for the warm hospitality during the learning visit.

The aforesaid benchmarking activity was not just about to reflect the exemplary performance and innovative approaches to community mediation of Barangay Tibungco but also to cast back as what PB CALVO said that as a public servant "𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙚" we will have to "𝙚𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙧𝙚" especially in implementing the services in our Barangay with unwavering dedication to promote a peaceful conflict resolution.

The Lupon Members and Staff of Barangay Bayabas insighted with the discussion of PB CALVO particularly their system in implementing the Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) and strengthening the Lupong Tagapamayapa that made its debut as a national nominee who secured in the 2nd Runner Up position in the recent LTIA National Awarding Ceremony.

Barangay Tibungco has an inspiring and strong leadership in a true public service that mark its significant milestone in its journey towards peace and harmony.
