[REPOST] 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 | Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Francis N. Tolentino joins President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. as he led the National Capital Region (NCR) Brigada Eskwela Kick-Off 2026 at Kapitbahayan Elementary School in Navotas City on June 2, 2026.
As part of DOLE's commitment to ensure safe, clean, and learner-ready spaces before the official start of classes this June, the Department is deploying at least 240,000 beneficiaries of its Tulong Panghanapbuhay Para sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers Program to assist in school maintenance, repair, and beautification of public schools nationwide. The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) will be providing at least 200 thousand employment opportunities nationwide through its “Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged Workers” (TUPAD) program starting tomorrow, June 1.

In a radio interview, newly appointed DOLE Secretary Francis N. Tolentino announced that the Department will officially deploy TUPAD workers to assist in the implementation of the Department of Education (DepEd) “Brigada Eskwela.”

ILIGAN CITY – To further strengthen conciliation-mediation mechanisms in the region, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao – Ministry of Labor and Employment (BARMM-MOLE), in partnership with the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC) and the Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch-X (RCMB X) successfully conducted an Advanced Single-Entry Assistance Desk Officer (SEADO) Training.

𝑪𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏 𝒅𝒆 𝑶𝒓𝒐 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 — Last Thursday, Team RCMB X held a simple send-off ceremony to congratulate and thank its On-the-Job Trainees (OJTs) for successfully completing their internship with the Branch.

RCMB X Director Oliver Jao and Administrative Officer III Mr. Zandro Cañete delivered their messages of appreciation and encouragement to the trainees as they move forward in their academic and professional journeys. The OJTs also expressed their gratitude to the Branch for the valuable learning experience and opportunity to serve.

The activity concluded with the awarding of certificates marking the completion of their tenure with RCMB X.

The Branch wishes its OJTs continued success in their future endeavors.

𝑰𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒊𝒕𝒚 — Earlier today, RCMB X Director Oliver Jao, together with NLRC SRAB X Labor Arbiter Atty. Lizanilla J. Amarga, met with representatives from Inahan Sa Kinabuhi Diocesan College Seminary, the Diocesan Chancery, and the Diocesan Cemetery at the NLRC SRAB X Office.

The meeting served as a consultation and coordination platform on NCMB programs, General Labor Standards, and other labor-related concerns affecting the participating diocesan establishments.

The activity underscores the continued commitment of RCMB X and NLRC SRAB X in strengthening awareness and promoting harmonious labor-management relations among various sectors.
