This year marks another milestone for cacao development in Misamis Oriental as the delivery of cacao seedlings to supported farmer organizations has been successfully completed. Through the RAPID Growth Project, these planting materials are complemented with technical guidance and capacity-building activities to ensure proper establishment and sustainable farm management.

With seedlings now in the hands of farmers, communities are moving forward with strengthened collaboration, improved production practices, and renewed commitment to building resilient cacao-based livelihoods. These efforts continue to support inclusive growth and long-term opportunities in the local cacao sector. 🌿🤝

The office is looking for applicants qualified for the following position for the RAPID Growth Region 10:

1. REGIONAL INNOVATION TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (RITA) - (IOS Position: Project Development Officer II)

No. of Vacant Position: 1

Salary: SG 15 + 20% Premium P43,943.00 per month
*Contractual Position for the RAPID Growth Special Project

Assignment: DTI-10 Regional Office

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Agriculture, Political Science, Communication, or other related fields

Experience: At least one (1) year experience in project coordination, project management, or equivalent. Prior work experience in government agency is a plus; Preferably with experience in foreign-assisted projects implemented by an economic government agency

Training: At least four (4) hours of relevant training

Summary of Job Description: Responsible for coordinating and implementing innovation initiatives within their assigned region for the RAPID Growth Project. Collaborates with regional stakeholders to ensure alignment with the national framework and successful integration of innovation strategies into regional development plans.

2. MONITORING & EVALUATION ASSISTANT (M&EA) - (IOS Position: Project Evaluation Officer I)

No. of Vacant Position: 1

Salary: SG 11 + 20% Premium P32,400.00 per month
*Contractual Position for the RAPID Growth Special Project

Assignment: DTI Bukidnon

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, and other related field of discipline

Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant work experience, such as but not limited to: 1) Planning, Monitoring, and Evaluation; 2) Database management; 3) Data and information processing and analysis. Preferably with experience in foreign-assisted projects implemented by an economic government agency

Training: At least four (4) hours of relevant training

Summary of Job Description:
Responsible for vetting, cleaning, and encoding of data, profiles, and information in the project’s online (Management Information System) and offline databases. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the quality of provincial data that will be processed, analyzed, and reported.

3. FIELD TECHNICAL VALIDATOR (FTV) - (IOS Position: Project Development Officer I)

Salary: SG 11 + 20% Premium P32,400.00 per month
*Contractual Position for the RAPID Growth Special Project

Assignment: DTI Misamis Oriental

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, and other related field of discipline.

Experience: At least one (1) year of similar work experience; Preferably with experience in foreign assisted projects implemented by an economic government agency

Training: At least four (4) hours of relevant training

Summary of Job Description:
The project Field Validator will be engaged to conduct field validation of all activities of the approved DIP/BPs implemented by the Provincial Coordinating Units, and thus shall be supervised by the Provincial Project Coordinator. The Field Validator shall closely collaborate with the Value Chain Facilitator/s and the Regional Monitoring, Evaluation, Knowledge Management Coordinator/s as co-implementers of the VC Stakeholders’ Profiling and validation.
