Personnel of Puerto Fire Station and its Sub-Stations headed by FINSP ALDRIN V SABELLANO, Station 8 Commander, under the direct supervision of our Acting Regional Director of BFP Region 10 FSSUPT RICHARD V ARBUTANTE, DSC, and our District Fire Marshal of Cagayan de Oro Fire District FSSUPT REXCLIBURN L SALVAÑA, DSC, participated in a two days Basic Life Support(BLS) Refresher Course conducted by Emergency Medical Service(EMS) of Cagayan de Oro Fire District. This refresher course aims to update the knowledge and enhance life saving skills learned during training, which is essential in providing immediate care during medical emergencies, since BFP personnel often act as first responders.

Personnel of PUERTO FIRE STATION 8 under the supervision of FINSP LOUIS ROY B SOLAMO station commander, welcomed the Senior High School students from Capitol University (12-CRIMSON) who are currently undergoing Work Immersion Program and the duty operation personnel conducted Fire safety lecture and demonstration on how to perform DONNING/DOFFING of Personal Protective Equipment(PPE).This will help the students understand the duties and responsibilities of Firefighters, obtain valuable knowledge and skills on Basic firefighting that they can apply in times of needs.
