Anong silbi ng boto mo?
Addressed to the "Kayod ka na lang ng sarilli mo, di magpapakain ang gubyerno sa iyo" mentalists:

Kaya yumayaman ang mga corrupt officials kasi boboto kayo ng walang pakialam sa bayan tapos yung mga gahaman na binoto nyo mangungurakot sa kaban ng bayan na galing sa buwis nyo..tapos maghihirap ang buong bansa..sasabihin nyo sariling kayod na lang tayo kasi di tayo pinapakain ng gubyerno? Tanga na lang maniniwala na hindi kaya ng gubyerno maghanap ng paraan na hindi tayo masyadong maghirap sa konting kayod.

Naalala mo noon? Kaya nating mangarap makabili ng condo at kotse ng hulugan sa sweldo kasi di kamahalan ang groceries at kuryente at tubig? Guberynong matino ang may gawa nun..kahit anong kayod mo kung di gagawa ng paraan ang gubyerno para mapagaan ang gastusin natin..wala pa rin. Tengehnemen.

As an aftermath of the recent typhoon , thousands of kababayans have been left with nothing, and as a result, continue to stay in evacuation centers which looks like the case in the next few weeks, and even months. Many were not at all able to save their homes, have been stripped off of their possessions, but most heartbreakingly, some were not able to save themselves nor their families.

While Bicolanos are considered Oragons, we were not spared from the wrath of mother nature. And as our kababayans wake up from this recent tragedy, we to stand beside them in solidarity as the dawn breaks and they welcome tomorrow. As they undertake to rebuild their lives, we want to reassure them that it is okay to be fragile and to feel defeated for a while, yet bounce back with a renewed sense of hope and healing in the days to come.

Drawing from the words of someone we look up to and aspire to emulate, former president Vice President Atty. Leni Robredo, "the nunber one ingredient of leadership aside from character is you show up in the most difficult times," we believe the same goes for our sense of humanity. And as our kababayans and fellow Bicolanos go through this most dreadful and difficult time in their lives, we show up and we stand with them, by them and for them.

After the onslaught of Typhoon Kristine which left the entire Bicol Region in a total state of devastation and unprecedented calamity, Righters.Ph launches TABANG KAY TUGANG (Helping q Sibling).
