COCPO NABS HIGH-VALUE INDIVIDUAL IN ₱748K SHABU BUY-BUST

On August 31, 2026, at around 5:42 PM, operatives from the City Drugs Enforcement Unit (CDEU), together with City Mobile Force Company (CMFC), in coordination with PDEA 10 under the supervision of PMAJ ALDREN E BACULIO, Chief CDEU and the leadership of PCOL DEXTER G PAJE, City Director of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO), successfully conducted a joint drug buy-bust operation at Villa Ernesto Subdivision, Barangay Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City.

The operation, carried out in coordination with PDEA-10 under Pre-Ops No. 11-00-08312016-0023, led to the arrest of one (1) High-Value Individual (HVI) and with one other and the confiscation of approximately 110 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of ₱ 748,000.00.

COCPO continues to strengthen partnerships with communities, schools, and organizations in the fight against illegal drugs—because prevention is as vital as enforcement.
