This Zumba activity highlights the dedication of our Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) in promoting wellness, preventing illness, and encouraging a healthier community through active lifestyles and health education.

More than just exercise, Zumba strengthens unity, boosts physical and mental well-being, and inspires everyone to prioritize their health in a fun and engaging way.

Together with Cadiz City Primary Care Facility, we continue to build stronger partnerships in delivering quality community health programs and creating a healthier future for all.

✔ Isa (1) ka Valid ID sa pagkuha sang inyo Blood Card.

Today, April 21, 2026 (7:00 AM – 12:30 PM), Barangay Zone 2 successfully conducted a Mobile Blood Donation Drive at the Barangay Zone 2 Public Plaza, in coordination with the City Government of Cadiz, Cadiz City Health Office, and Negros First Provincial Blood Center.

A total of 136 volunteers came forward with the intention to donate blood. After strict screening and evaluation, 107 donors were successfully able to donate. We are proud to share that Barangay Zone 2 exceeded its target of 1% of the population (around 70 donors), a meaningful achievement that reflects the compassion and bayanihan spirit of our community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Cadiz City Health Office Team and Negros First Provincial Blood Center Team for their dedication and hard work in making this activity successful.

Special thanks as well to the Barangay Zone 2 Council, spearheaded by Punong Barangay Gildio “Khloe” N. Libradilla, together with our Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Nutrition Scholar, Midwife, Barangay Tanods, and Staff for their support and commitment throughout the activity.

Most importantly, thank you to all our selfless blood donors who willingly gave a part of themselves to help save lives. Your generosity truly makes a difference.

Hopefully, we can maintain and even surpass this achievement next year. Together, let us continue to save lives through blood donation.

Barangay Zone 2 successfully conducted its first Barangay Assembly for the year on March 28 at 2:00 PM at the Barangay Zone 2 Covered Court, with 189 residents in attendance, reflecting strong community participation and support.

The assembly was headed by Punong Barangay Gildio “Khloe” N. Libradilla, who delivered the State of the Barangay Address (SOBA), presenting reports on barangay fund allocation, accomplishments, and ongoing and proposed projects for the continued development of Barangay Zone 2.

Each Barangay Kagawad also delivered short messages, expressing their commitment to serve the community and address the needs and concerns of the residents.

SK Chairman, Almer “JR” Parcon Jr. likewise shared a message of support, highlighting youth participation, leadership, and the importance of empowering the younger generation in community development.

We were also honored by the presence and messages of support from our distinguished guests:

• Hon. William "Bebing" Tabanao, City Councilor, who expressed his continued support for the programs and initiatives of Barangay Zone 2.

• Mr. Darwin Encarquez, representing City ENRO Officer I Engr. Florentino Caceres Jr., who shared messages on environmental cooperation and community partnership.

• Mr. Rodolfo Alontaga, representing PLT COL Lymel John Pasquin, Chief of Police, Cadiz PNP, who conveyed their commitment to maintaining peace, order, and public safety in the community.

Their presence and words of encouragement further strengthened the spirit of unity, cooperation, and transparency in governance.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all residents and guests who participated and contributed to making the assembly productive and meaningful. Together, we continue to work towards a stronger and more progressive Barangay Zone 2.
