The City Government of Cadiz welcomed today the delegation from the City Government of Sipalay for a site visit to the Family Boulevard Coastal Protection Infrastructure. The visit provided the delegation an opportunity to observe and assess the structure’s design, construction features, functionality, and coastal protection benefits, while gaining valuable insights into its implementation.

The delegation, composed of Hon. Claudio Bacatan, SP Committee Chair on Environment; Hon. Praem Mediodia, SP Committee Chair on Tourism; Engr. Rafael Jabonete and Engr. Jonathan Mueda of the City Engineering Office; For. Reynante Aplicy of the City Environment and Natural Resources Office; and Johnna Mae De La Cruz of the City Tourism Development and Promotion Office, was welcomed by City Vice Mayor Hon. John Vincent Escalante, together with SP Committee Chair on Tourism Hon. Lalen Lamis and City Councilors Hon. Claire Therese Consing, Hon. Maricel Desuyo, Hon. Katrina Kaye Gustilo-Balbin, and Hon. Winona Balagosa.

The visit fostered the sharing of best practices in coastal protection and sustainable environmental management.
