Theme: “Thriving, not just surviving: Holistic support for the socio-emotional well-being, igniting hope and shaping the future of the new era of PYAP-AKO.”

The 51st Founding Anniversary of the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) is more than a celebration—it’s a reaffirmation of our shared commitment to uplift out-of-school youth (OSY) across the country. Established under Presidential Decree No. 603 (Child and Youth Welfare Code) and guided by Republic Act 8044 (Youth in Nation-Building Act), PYAP continues to be a vital platform under DSWD for leadership, personal growth, values formation, and active civic engagement among vulnerable and marginalized Filipino youth. Through local and national programs, PYAP empowers young individuals to be partners in shaping a just, inclusive, and hopeful future.

As part of this meaningful milestone, we’re holding a youth-centered seminar addressing three pressing issues faced by today’s youth:
Illegal Drug Use
Teenage Pregnancy
HIV and AIDS Awareness

This seminar aims to raise awareness, strengthen decision-making skills, and encourage young people to become advocates of health, safety, and empowerment in their communities.

HELLO JERUSALEM, AND HELLO WORLD!

As the much-anticipated Barangay Day Celebration draws near, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Jerusalem, in collaboration with the esteemed Barangay Jerusalem Council, is thrilled to announce the launch of our First-Ever Tourism Video Filming Competition. This year's Barangay Day festivities hold a special purpose which is to showcase the breathtaking beauty and captivating charm that make our beloved Barangay Jerusalem such a truly wonderful and astonishing place to call home.

Requirement/s:
1. Open to creative talents of any group or individual, whether they reside within the community of Barangay Jerusalem or beyond.
2. Must be 15 years old and above.
3. A group or individual with or without affiliation to any organizations of filmmaking.
4. Only one audition video will be allowed per individual or team.

Audition Video:
1. A 3-5 minutes of audition video will be submitted.
2. You are welcome to submit existing video footage, provided that you are the rightful owner of the submitted entry.
3. Deadline of audition entries will be on May 10, 2025
