The πŸͺΈπ™Άπš’πšŠπš—πš π™²πš•πšŠπš– πš…πš’πš•πš•πšŠπšπšŽ π™Ώπš›πš˜πšπšŽπšŒπšπšŽπš π™°πš›πšŽπšŠ (GCVPA)🐚 welcomes the site-visit and validation of the Ecoluminaries Evaluators of the Abanse Negrense Environmental Awards & Incentives Program of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental in collaboration with CENRO-Cadiz City.

As part of this program, the GCVPA and the Lakawon and Kabilang-bilangan Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) were validated on September 8, 2026. Evaluators were from the Provincial Environment and Management Office (PEMO), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) NIR & PENRO Offices, PNU - Visayas, along with the Philippine Biodiversity Conservation Foundation, Inc. and Coastguard MEPO.

Another fun-filledπŸŽ‰ IEC-Lecture about the Giant Clam Village Protected Area (GCVPA) & the Importance of Conservation and Protection of our Marine Resources was conducted at Hon. Pedro R. Villena Memorial Elementary School, Brgy. Sicaba last August 24, 2026.

Attended by 151 Grade 5 & 6 students and teachers, the activity full of lectures and games lasted more than an hour and ended with a blast of enthusiasm & smiles. 😁 Our sincerest appreciation for the effort of Ma’am Hazel and the teachers for the activity to be held despite the brown-out. ❣️

May the lessons brought to the students be instilled in their thoughts and hearts. Until next time!
