As altar servers and sacristans, it is important for us to understand the sacred objects used during the Holy Mass. Each item has a special purpose in the liturgy and reminds us of the beauty and reverence of serving at the altar.

From the chalice and ciborium to the thurible and altar bells, these sacred items help us participate more deeply in the celebration of the Eucharist.

May we always serve God with humility, faith, and reverence.
