A Heartfelt Thank You
The highlight of the event came when the Boy Scouts of the Philippines National Office, during its 69th Annual National Council Meeting, and the National Executive Board conferred upon the Local Government Unit of the City of Cadiz — under the leadership of Hon. Mayor Salvador G. Escalante, Jr. — the Lingkod Kabataan Award for Distinguished Service for its service to the Filipino Youth through Scouting.
The Youth Formation Division extends its heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Mayor Salvador "Bading" G. Escalante, Jr.; Vice Mayor John Vincent I. Escalante and SP Members, SDS Ma'am Arlene G. Bermejo, CESO V; ASDS Sir Michell L. Acoyong, CESO VI; SGOD OIC-Chief Hel S. Patricio; Ian B. Sevellejo, EPS; the PSDSs; the Elementary and Secondary School Heads; and the proud parents. Without your guidance and support, this achievement would not have been possible.
Special thanks also go to BSP Negros Occidental Council Executive Roberto P. Maguad, MPA, LT for visiting our Camp Dinagsa, to the City DRRMO led by Sir Richard A. Amante for water supply and medical support, the Cadiz City PNP led by PLtCol Leymel John H. Pasquin for ensuring safety, the CREATE Volunteer members led by Mr. Alan C. Daniel; the Cadiz Eagle Scouts Association, Rover Scouts and all alumni Eagle Scouts who tirelessly supported and guided the boys.
